This L is on Dier and Conte. Liverpool were very beatable today.

Yeah you read through some of the positive posts and they'd make sense if this was Liverpool of last season.

This is a team who can't win away to save their lives & were less than mediocre today. We still haven't won a single big game home or away in the league. If we can't win our big home games or the big away ones, where are we at?

8 points behind Woolwich having played a game more than them. Fucking dreadful. This is the team all the positivity posters were telling us we were miles ahead of & our window pissed all over theirs. Wouldn't even be a threat.

Having Kulu, Romero, and Son on at the same time would be great.
  • Kulu, outside of Son, clearly has the best chemistry with Kane. Saw it in the first 3 minutes today after the sub
  • Romero shores up the back and often starts the counter attacks the forwards depend on (makes lack of creativity in midfield less apparent)
  • Say what you will about Son, touch has faded this year, etc., but at least he shoots the ball on occasion

Agree. I would add that when Romero comes back Lenglet needs to be our CCB. We need Lenglet’s passing out of the back.

Also, sorry to say for Sess, but we need Perisic there with Doherty and / or new player on the other side.

Royal isn’t good enough.

Woolwich are miles ahead of us.

Now I'm going to get attacked for saying that.

I feel proud of our performance, and I think that better times are ahead for us

One positive in particular: the way Bissouma is growing into our game.

COYS!!!
Yeah I am very proud too

We're the first team to transition to 45 minute matches

Trailblazers

Just need to wait for every other team to follow our lead and we're golden

Bright times ahead , hope everyone has got their shades

If only we could replicate the second half for 90 minutes and cut out the inevitable defensive brain farts we could be on to something . That second half performance proves we can actually play and we deserved something from the game . God these first half performances are not good for my blood pressure !

I'm sure I saw that Kulu and Romero have only started two league games together all season. The opening two fixtures, which happened to bring us 6 goals..
