None of that this year, it's really low key, shite weather here, interferes with Xmas prep and meetings. Such a shame. First real year my kids would have been into it.

Whatever little enthusiasm I had for the World Cup has disappeared while watching Netflix’s ‘FIFA Uncovered’. The brazenness of those involved in the buying and selling of the game is absolutely fucking shameful. I’m honestly not sure as to who the main culprit is: Havelange, Blatter, Warner or the men that so easily bought them. The interviewers let them all off pretty lightly although the evidence is damning. Watching Blatter’s successor Infantino glad-handling the cheating Qataris makes you realize how little has changed.
Will be an experience, will try and watch every game, will be interesting to see how far Qatar go
I actually think this tournament will be really good. All the players are match fit because it is the middle of the season. Plus because there has been such a backlash to Qatar you just know that it will ironically be a good tournament.
Would still probably have better quality than England vs Iran.
