seems to have struck up a good friendship/partnership with doherty. hopefully conte gets this and fucks emerson off. they made it clear in interview after game they understand each others game and enjoy the partnership. to be fair must be a joy as wingback to have kulu in front of you, only emerson could not benefit from that because hes not got a footballers brain. maybe spence can improve our LWB situation because sess is not the one.

Only one who's played LWB under Conte that isn't Sess or Perisic is Doc like yesterday's friendly.
yea he can pay there decent enough. point is, if you have a genuine gem like kulusevski and he prefers linking with certain players as it gets the best from him, you give him them players.
you dont try and force him in with shit he dont want to play with, you keep him happy by giving him what he wants out there, you also benefit from getting the best version of him. its clear when hes linking with doc its a good partnership because they are on the same wavelength.
if spence is a good footballer hell do a better job at LWB than sess.
Yeah but you mentioned playing him RWB and Spence on the Left? That probably would never happen as Conte has only ever played Doc there out of the 3 recognised RWB even going back to when he first arrived and switched Doc to the left and Gil on the right away to Southampton last year.
just saying hes surely a better option than sess whos pretty much just a number out there, adds no quality. perisic is fine but hes 33 and hes not going to be able to handle every minute in that position. ideally we need a new addition.

I don’t think Perisic is fine, we need a left wing back 100%. Maybe White or even Gill could come in for the FA cup games and flourish
because hes surely a better option than sess. he looked alright yesterday. LWB doesnt need to be left footed. look at cancelo. also our wingbacks arent exactly crossers like liverpool. we got a striker who doesnt even get in the box. they are more wingbacks that do runs in behind for kane
perisic a good squad option to have. still got bundles of quality and ability. just his legs are on the wane, his technical ability is still there

I agree re not having to be left footed but he’s not one of the players that can go on his weak foot IMO. Doc can, but Spence is an out and out right sided speedster
