Why would levy back him now? He isn't signing another contract so why get the players he wants in only for another manager who plays a totally different system to not want them. Unless the player is class or a youngster then whats the point.

I thought Lenglet was poor in the aftermath.
We have a handful of potentially World class players in Bentancur, Kane, Kulu,Richy, Son(on last seasons form) & Romero some promising youngsters in Spence, Skipp and Sarr and then some good Pros like Davies,PEH & Bissouma . The problem is the rest of the squad is practically Championship level and not fit to play at this level at all and cannot be relied on when the chips are down, we also have the Likes of Lloris and Dier who routinely gift teams goals, they have been decent servants but desperately need replacing along with Moura who falls into the same category add to that the likes of Winks, Lo Celso and Ndombele who are still costing us a fortune and may never play for us again, to fix this situation we need to cut our losses on these and serious investment is required

Thats far more favorable of a view than I had. We weren’t terrible in the first half, but we weren’t very good either. We had two shots on target with a combined xG of .19. We looked slow, disjointed, and lacked any real creativity. The best thing I think we can realistically say about the first half was that we didn’t concede and didn’t provide them any clear cut chances.
You also need a quality manager who is able to get the most out of his players and change things up with things aren't going to plan.
That just isn't Conte.

I actually like Lenglet.There was no money to buy a centre back so he had to get Lenglet on loan.
I think he can play.
It's the two in central midfield that's costing us.
Its not all Contes fault, in fact most of it isnt but its patently obvious now he wont be with us next season so whats the point in limping on? This side aren't going to suddenly start playing well. Something has been broken all season. For once can the board be pro active, make the change and give a new manager the January window at least and actually support him properly.
