Still would.

Steady on Ed.

I've never met anybody called Ed with a personality in my entire life, Eddie that's different. But in my experience Ed is usually the inoffensive balding guy who hangs in the back with the beige socks worn over sandals.
Ok I will give you that is funny and not boring . If I hadn’t fucked up i would be Art Vanderlay. What colour socks would I have if I was called Art?

Is wearing socks over sandals a thing for anybody even an Ed , seems super weird

I feel Football has been going a certain way for a while now, its just focused around money, with obscene Transfer fees and wages, midweek games with no care for the fans who travel there and ticket prices that the majority would struggle to afford if they wanted to go every week! Even if you want to watch it at home "legally" it costs a small fortune to have BT and Sky Sports, long gone is the working mans game!

I will always support Spurs, the club is part of me, there is nothing that could stop me supporting them, however regardless if we get bought out by these or anyone else, i cant help but think i started falling out of love with the game a while back, don't get me wrong i will always follow the club and its a huge part of my life, however its not how it used to be and it wont be long before all PL clubs are owned by Sugar Daddies and the NLD is hosted in Qatar, Money and greed ruined the game and its come to a point now where we need this kind of investment just to stand a chance tainted or not i'd love to know just once what its like to experience us winning something big and im sure im not the only one!
Think that sums it up nicely for most of us.

IF this happens at all it won't be imminent if our transfer dealings are anything to go by. So chill everyone, this will be a slow burner and there is nothing you can do about it!

I agree. It will probably peter out into nothing and someone will remark in 6 months time, oh do you remember that time in january when we thought qatar might buy us and it all turned out to be nothing.

I bet that happens.

"Okay gang. I know that we have allowed Russians to buy Chelsea, Abu Dabi to buy City and Saudi Arabia to buy Newcastle. All of that is okay. But we absolutely cannot allow Spurs to get oil money as well. That's just immoral!"

Not taking a stance in the should we/should we not be bought discussion. But it fucking hilarious that they've allowed other clubs to be bought up. But we would be a step too far.

It's the only way to compete unfortunately

Holy shit, a few Spurs fans have joked that if we got Qatar investment the FA etc would suddenly find a backbone regarding money being pumped into clubs.

They'd actually come for us if little old Tottenham got a slice of the pie, wouldn't they?

The league currently includes two other gulf states, a holding company connected to the Chinese state, a man who made his initial fortune in pornography, online gambling moguls, a taxfree empire, multiple venture capitalists and a suspected drug baron.

Another sovereign wealth fund would be just up the league's street.... As long as it isn't investing in Spurs. Can't have that now can we?
