Skriniar was never close. That's just a name.

Bastoni... Oh you mean the CB that's playing for his boyhood club and that has Inter tatts all over him. Same guy who's agent repeatedly said he wants to stay at Inter and is currently doing a new deal?
We had people in Italy at exactly the same stage of negotiations with Skriniar.

There were weeks of stories about price and Bastoni ready to work with Conte, the manager that launched his careeer, then suddenly his agent came out and said he wanted to stay in Italy.

You may have noticed the same pattern with Zaniolo. He’s interested, we are interested, club sets price,we want to pay less, player wants to stay in Italy.

Lucas Moura will return to action for our Under-21s against Woolwich in the Premier League 2 at Boreham Wood this evening (Friday 27 January, 7pm) – the game is live on SPURSPLAY.

The speedy attacker has been hit hard by a tendon issue that has restricted him to 11 appearances in our 29 matches in all competitions so far this season. Indeed, Lucas hasn’t featured since coming off the bench in our final match before the break for the World Cup, a 4-3 win against Leeds on 12 November.

The invisible player, Lucas Moura, ..... might return !
For the under 31s more likely....

They will be reporting back to the little runt and operating to his instructions. Very much doubt they have the final decision on the commercial terms
They do if the agreement is within certain parameters, that's what he's employed them to do and those will be his instructions.

He'll be paying them a fortune to carry out these negotiations, you don't buy a dog and bark yourself.

Don’t agree at all, he’s leaving a sinking ship. It’s a short career and you need to make the best decisions for yourself, and staying at that absolute shambles of a football club isn’t it.
And it's not just any old relegation, they've got isane debt, wage to revenue ratios, and a massive new stadium on the way. Chances are Pickford is off too, and several of their players are just gonna leave on a free in a year or two.

Wouldn't be surprised if relegation is followed by administration.

Is it?

So absolutely nothing to do with Sporting?

TBH, it's a pointless argument anyway. The last reputable report we got was that the deal was essentially done, but the announcement would be after the cup final.

Agreed, I think it 75/25 that the aggregators want clicks so make up stories to post knowing they've got a 24 hour window before the League Cup Final match tomorrow that Porro is playing in.

Couldn’t have timed it any better.
