He will benefit going out on loan for regular game time. Seems odd that he isn't deemed "good enough" in training though. Not sure if he's had under 21 matches under his belt.

It's not like Royal or Doherty are exceptional wing backs though!

Like I said, maybe they do what they're told. Conte is very much about players being where they're supposed to be and doing what they're told to do.
Maybe he's regularly caught out of position or maybe he's just lazy. We know that despite his limitations, Royal is very fit and works his socks off.
 
Be a sad indictment of our transfer policy, management and over all transfer policy going forward if we sell him. Basically we have ruined one year of his orofessional career. I’m sure he’d want more than anything to be playing football. After the protracted transfer to get and then treat him like shite is appalling. Regardless of whether he is good or not. To basically say he is not even a. Option compared to the other RWBs is damming. I’m sure whilst conte is here other young English players would think twice about coming to spurs. We always a good core of English players. Conte will ruin any you h talent we have if he is so stubborn and basically thinks royal or players like him are the answer. I bet Soence won’t even make the bench tonight!

Pretty sure I read last month that he was an exceptional trainer. No idea what’s going on, but he’s obviously pissed Conte off somehow.

Conte's crew have said he has a good attitude to training.... They just don't consider him "ready"....... What's lacking is the million dollar question, but having seen him play it seems positioning/tactical discipline is likely......

Can't be that he's just a bit weak defensively...... We're on the brink of signing a new RWB for 45m that has his own question marks on that front.... At anything less than his best, Doherty isn't that great defensively either.
 
I'm just wondering why Conte is not giving Spence more pitch time. We all know Tottenham are struggling at RB, Docherty, Royale & Tanganga all not fitting the bill. I know he was playing for a championship side but if he's not given a chance how will anyone know what he can do. 5 minutes at the end of a match or two doesn't really cut it.

You'd think he could have at least gotten 20 or so minutes to put him in the shop window. We may as well be setting money on fire if Conte isn't even going to try and help us play the salesman game a little bit. Bizarre all around, honestly...
