Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

An attacking line up of Son, kane, Kulu, Rich, and Mitoma with Danjuma as a last resort would be absolutely fantastic. One of the best in the world in terms of depth.

Will never happen, Levy can just say we've got enough and buy another unscouted Championship player.
Yeah Levy will not spend big on another forward until one of Kane or Son goes, which probably won't be this summer.

I think Kane either extends or leaves on a free next summer.

Levy probably values Son at 50-60m and no one will pay that so again I think he runs down his contract. There is also the commercial factor with the Korean fans to consider.

“I wanted to sign Kim Min-jae when I was at Tottenham. I had some FaceTime calls with him,” Mourinho said.
“Our bid was €5m, [Beijing Guoan] wanted €10m for Kim and for Tottenham, that wasn’t possible at that point. Now look at Kim and his level, he’s a top player.”

5m and it wasn't possible, seriously?
LeParisien LeParisien seems another in a long line of oopsies. Sure, do hope we take care of those Dier and Davies extensions this summer.

Jose saying how he wanted to sign a promising South Korean CB Kim Min Jae for Spurs but Levy wouldn't spend 7 or 8 mil to buy and offered 5 which was rejected. Jose said Spurs just didn't have the money at the time !!

Mourhino was sacked by Spurs in April 2021

Kim Min Jae moved from China to Fenerbache in Summer 2021 for €3 million

So something doesn't stack up with Jose's story - he says Spurs offered more that the Chinese club later sold him for.

So if Jose is right that Spurs offered €5 million sometime (presumably 2020 ?) the bid was not turned down as Spurs bid too little (as you suggest) but some other reason.

Agreed. Hoping the Hinecapie stuff is true if we got him in it’d br huge.

Suspect we’ll be priced out
I just hope Hincapie isn't another Sanchez. Our scouting seems entirely random, lacking even the basic sense of what our priorities are.

Or maybe they just expected a bigger fee from a PL side. We spent £10m on Rodon, after all.

Perfectly possible.

But, if true, they cut their noses off to spite their face if 6 months or so later they sold him for half of what Spurs had offered. The logical thing would be to go back to Spurs to try to do a deal rather than sell for half of what Spurs offered.

That's why Jose story doesn't quite gel.
