Whole thing just smells wrong to me...... Has done since the links in the summer.
It's almost the same as the Deki story. Has fallen out with the club (in Deki's case, the manager), and both are players that Conte and Paratici have been desperate to have since they were in Italy.

Conte was stunned at how Spaletti had let Zaniolo go for fucking Nainngolan + 30M.

I still don't think it'll happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I know you're happy to play down his injuries; but he's significantly changed as a player.

Yeh, who knows.... Wouldn't be shocked either.

I‘ll let you into a secret, we aren’t signing Maddison today.

....Wear it with pride, fam.

Ya just knew after getting Porro done the mob would start complaining about not getting a CB.

We got our top target at our biggest need position.

In what world were we going to spend like a Chelsea and fix all of our needs this window.
Lets be real, spurs have the money for a cb.

Our accounts will show that next month.

Either create a top 4 worthy defence or stop pretending to be a big club that has any relevance to elite football

I do see him regularly in Serie A. He was more than decent, but Dybala (remember him) has taken his spot and has looked a reborn player this season. The technical ability is still there.

He was the reason they won the Conference League Final last season. Pellegrini was having a mare, and nothing was being created. The goal was a tap-in sure, but he was the only one looking lively.

Dybala is at Roma now????

I missed that one.....

....It's equally the demise of people that twist things so the player isn't counted in either window.

It's literally only people that are rent-free embroiled in ENIC internet debates that give a crap about this 'which window do they count in' shite.
Sure, that is equally stupid as well. The 'oh its loan again' bit is definitely an unnecessary whine especially if there is an obligation to buy. It is a little more relevant when we know the loan player is a complete random (eg Carlos Vinicius, Gedson, etc) who no one believe is here for the long run and just a stop gap to placate a manager /fans.

Almost all of us have at some point or another been involved in the Enic in or out intenet debates though. It will be funny when the double counters will talk about Kulusevski as a new signing when we turn that loan to permanent. "Like a new signing"

Most reports suggest that we are going into the summer looking for CBs.

We haven't been linked to anyone that will instantly make us better for the rest of the season.

There hasn't been a single rumor of a CB leaving this January.

Not saying its not right or wrong, but everything out there suggested we were never going for a CB this window.

Thinking we'd swoop in at the last moment and buy some CB star was just getting ones hopes up and never realistic

Has anyone at Spurs ever considered getting Levy proper drunk?

Who knows what kind of reckless shit he would do after some strong IPA, a few shots and a sniff.

Yeah Tony, I love you, you can have a new CB - let's get Gvardiol, fuck it, his beard is shexshy
Yeah, a new attacking midfielder? We need some homegrown players, lets fuck Leicester over. Maddison is a cunt. We need some of those.
Aaaaand while I'm at it, let's get some of these wankers out of the squad shall we. I'll pay some expensive agents to whore them out. We'll do it.

Just keep him drunk until the ink is dry and then wait.

Think the window's been subpar tbh. Porro is cool, and Danjama might do a job, but we haven't actually improved our offensive depth because we loaned out Gil, and we haven't done anything to rectify the biggest issues at CB and GK. We'll still concede lots as it stands and therefore probably miss out on top four. Would have rather got in one CB or a GK of decent quality than either of the two we have brought in.
The window has been completely underwhelming imo.....no defensive changes...no midfield changes...just a RWB and some winger who appeared suddenly out of nowhere because he's a Levy bargain basement barrel scraping...still, I've supported Spurs since the early sixties and for the last few years have had no expectations of our current owners...I'm numb to the whole business now...I won't expect top 4...or even 5....we're not going to really challenge for the CL....we might get lucky with the FA cup but lucky is the operative word because we don't have the required quality throughout the squad to make it on merit.
Conference, here we come....

We have a better team than we had last year and even the beginning of this year. If we can’t get 4th in a league weaker than we were last year than Conte is a big fraud.

Chelsea have spent over 500 million and are awful.

We could spend a billion and some of you “fans” would be like “just not ambitious enough”
