How many on here can actually say they have seen him play more than 5 times?
For those that answer Yes, do you think he is going to meet the high expectations we have of him, or are we buying him as straight away he is our No1 RWB, and his potential is massive? I remember getting excited when we signed Reggie and look how that turned out!

I'd be shocked if he wasn't our immediate first choice. Seems we're moving out Doherty and unless the club plan to start Emerson for the rest of the season, seems plain that he's come in to immediately go in to the lineup.

Whether that works out or not is another thing, but that appears to be the intention. I don't think he's another Reguilon, seems a lot more technically accomplished. He suits the RWB role perfectly & has played it all season, so I really don't think the transition process should be that major.

....It's equally the demise of people that twist things so the player isn't counted in either window.

It's literally only people that are rent-free embroiled in ENIC internet debates that give a crap about this 'which window do they count in' shite.
The anti Levy mob love twisting things.

Year one:
We didn't pay £x for him, he's on loan.

Year two:
He joined last year so he doesn't count as being bought this year.

All we can hope for is that Porro plus better attacking options (Son actually showing up + Rich and Dan) means we just become a more threatening team to the point we lessen the pressure on our dodgy defence.

I still think we'll get top 4 (Newcastle draw too much) but struggle to see a cup win tbh.

We'll now see if all those that insisted "a new RB would transform us" during the Porro saga were right.......

Maddison has changed his profile picture on Instagram from Jamie Vardy, the Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and the FA Cup (in a Leicester kit) to him in an England kit. The timing of the change comes at a time when a transfer away from the Foxes has started to heat up.

Leceister announced the signing of Brazilian Tete on Sunday morning. Both Maddison and Tete feature in the same position, which highlights that the Foxes seem to be looking to replace the Englishman amid interest from a host of top clubs to secure his signature.

I‘ll let you into a secret, we aren’t signing Maddison today.

Is he a Mexican? Or a Mexican't?

TalkSPORT’s transfer clown Alex crook just now…

‘We’re at that state where deals are either gonna happen or they’re not!’

Brilliant, promote him.

Complete twat

Yeah covering high wages for someone who doesn't start for us and is constantly injured sounds like good business sense.
They can agree on a pay split for the player with Roma. Roma pays 40%, we pay the remaining 60% (just a suggestion).

I've said it before, he's had two freak injuries that can be cured for good with the medical advances. Apart from that, the other injury I remember him having was a broken shoulder when he fell awkwardly.

Roma seem pretty desperate to sell him.........

We got our new Eriksen/ Modric type player on the books already in Bryan Gil

Id imagine he has impressed Conte since he was given a run in the side post World cup but can we guarentee him a starting berth in the team right now??????

No

If im Conte i would be sending him back to Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season with the knowledge that come the summer he'll be the key player the team will be built around

He gets to go back to his former club in a desperate time of need showcase his true potential on a consistent basis and keep Sevilla in the Spanish top flight then come back to rip the premier league apart next season its a win -win situation for both parties

Sadly I see absolutely no signs so far that Gil can get anywhere near the level of Eriksen, let alone Modric.

I sympathise with your argument, it's just I don't see Gil as being that good at all.
