The very fact that players in front of defense are "not actual footballers" exactly means that you have to have solid back line. Cause the clowns upfield cannot retain the possession anyway. Attacks keep on coming and Lenglet is criminally unfit to deal with them.

It is hard to watch the shit Conte is lining us up to play anyway. Picking 21 balls out of our net with 10 games means that our defense is absolute shitshow. And any improvement is big enough.

Specially given that with more solid Davies we could play Perisic on LWB, but with Lenglet, it would have to be Sess... so there is no comparison really. Davies all the fucking way.

Porro looks promising and should be an upgrade. At a minimum Danjuma will provide us alternatives to Lucas and could provide some competition to or an alternative to Son. It will be good for Spence and White to get experience IF their loans offer them enough playing time.

CB's are still a mess.

I could make a case that lately our LWB situation is worse than our RWB one, but we didn't do anything there either, and we reduced the depth on the right. And we loaned out Doherty who is better suited to the RWB role than Royal.

We were never going to be looking at a LWB this window, whether rightly or wrongly we seem to be putting all our eggs in the Udogie basket .

CB has been an issue for years now, and we still didn't address it. It's a pipe dream to think that we'll bring in a world class LCB and CCB come summer time.

Well I've finally managed to catch up with every page of this thread.

It was definitely not worth it! I'll stick to singing Levy Out at away matches!

The real test is if we can get Levy Out going at home against City.
