For conte it is but we never get them the ball high enough to be of any danger. We are so low that we have 5 players or 7 sometimes on out 18 yard line. What we need is to learn to play football again with ericksen type player. That player being Maddison and build the team around him with back 4. This BS about creativity coming from wing backs is going nowhere. How many great WBs are there plus you need 3 competent CDs. It’s easier to find wide attacking players like most teams have with a play maker behind. Ffs how many teams in history sacrificed all possesion and creativity to let WBs be the most important players in the team. Another thing look all the teams who play with a 4 their FBs get just as high as our WBs. What is the difference. Most can get up and down the pitch and have done for decades. What makes WBs so special?

We have issues in the CB, WB, Keeper and MF positions. Richarlison cost a lot of money but what has he provided ? Kulu is up and down. Has Conte been backed in real terms, not money....quality.
Poch times were simply beautiful. Never worried what he’s gonna say on press conference or worried about him getting sacked. With Mourinho and Conte every week there is something. I’m sick of it. If we actually played good football or just were winning I wouldn’t have a problem.

At that point, it wasn't about formations and tactics IMO there were issues regarding Poch and the players, there were huge personnel problems namely a midfield that had literally no legs left, a press that had disappeared up front and a back-line so slow it couldn't push high anymore. Basically, there were so many issues all conspiring to impact the performances negatively (similar to what is going on at Liverpool now, although absolutely nowhere near as bad - nothing that some brave calm stewardship that should have been applied. Either sack Poch but replace him with a similar style coach or recognise that you have the best Coach you've ever had and stick with him by working with him to fix the issues that are causing the problems).
A lot gets made of managers losing dressing g room’s, well this feels like the dressing room lost its manager. He clearly doesn’t want to be here. It was a money gig while he had fuck all else on.

This argument pep or whoever couldn’t get us to press and play passing football is a bit of BS. How comes some trans get new managers who then get said sane players to play a totally diff brand of football. How do Brighton , wolves and a few other teams actually play decent football with the players they have? Surely we have better players than Brighton. In fact didn’t someone post that Brighton under new manager now create far more chances than under potter. Btw how did potter get Brighton from play shit football under high tin to being able pass and transition the ball from defence to attack.
