I actually questioned where he had played enough games for anyone to form an opinion of him and was slammed for it.
I wasn't begging for him at all. I was just (like everyone else) fed up with us taking a month to sign players we want over minor details. In the end, that month of pissing about cost us Doherty, so it wasn't worth it.

Considering their forms...while Hojberg is more experienced and obviously better than the kids, he isnt that far ahead of Sarr or Skipp. At Cm we should be fine, i.e. struggle as much as we usually do. Its the GK, CBs, WB and Wingers that Im more worried about. Dier, Davies, Perisic, Forster being what they are and Son/Kulu is rubbish form...its not looking that great.
I only remember it because it was an excellent debut Champions League for us and to get to the quarter finals was an excellent achievement but all rivals fans said was that we didn't play anyone good and that the first good team we played, they knocked us out.
Which was laughable at the time and still is today.
Airfixx should probably just sit down, watch some Bluey and have a stressfree night for once.

think id go with this now. perisic might be a lot better in this sort of system too. one thing is for sure if we do get past milan then things start getting real serious from then on in the CL. kulu needs to get back in the zone asap, he cant be as poor as he was against leicester because we are well and truly fucked if he cant get into gear.
