At our best of the last 6 or 7 years we would have struggled to overcome the injuries of the last days. Seems so unfair.

We got to a CL final with Sissoko and Winks playing every game, we can still do this. We our last away game against Milan with Sandro and Palacios in the middle. Conte simply has to adjust the team.
If we try to play the usual 343 with Skipp and Sarr in the middle then we are going to be in trouble. If we do something different like Dier as CDM in a 433 or Deki as a third midfielder in a 352, maybe we can get through it. There must be players in the squad who could do a short term job as a midfielder. Maybe even Emerson? A top manager finds a solution.

I really don’t wanna see Perisic, Son and Kulu start. I’d like a 442 with a Davies - Danjuma left hand side and an Emerson - Porro right hand side. Richarlison up front with Kane.
Luckily now we have Porro who can take all the set pieces. I think this is why one of Perisic/Son has started every game this season

Sandro's limited form had been really poor, but out of nowhere he had an absolute stormer. His turnover led to Lennon's run and assist. So unlucky with injury. Palacios a great MF who then had terrible family tragedy.
Terrible for both of them, shame for us.
Which is probably our best shot of going through.
If we come away with a draw tomorrow then that'll be massive.
Hopefully the next time we see them, we'll have a midfield of Skipp and PEH which improves us massively.
Said it before in this thread, but the aim of tomorrow is to come away without losing..... Or worse case scenario, come away only a goal down and still in the tie.
