It seems clear that Conte is going to see out his contract till the end of the season and go back to Italy. I feel he is resigned to the fact that he will not be able to achieve a trophy and, top 4 unlikely. At the start of the season we saw him yelling orders from the sidelines and very animated. Now he just stands silent, looking miserable.
Like most coaches that fail, I feel that he is laying the framework to save face and blame the club.
45 million for a player who has played a grand total of 14 games in the tin pot Portuguese league. Let's hope Porro isn't yet another dud.

It's just unfair to consider him as terrible, as you can see , the squad has been reinforce by around 300m , bunch of deadwood has been sold and still there is almost no improvement from what he has done . I rather gave all those money for him instead we would have been in the better place.
would probably have davies lb over perisic. its hardly a revolutionary idea a lot of people think its better than having 3 donkeys at the back. by adding another midfielder there is less stress on the defence. but cunty is married to his wing back system no matter what it seems, performances and points seem to be secondary. lenglet also a better CB than the 3 you mentioned just from the fact hes better on the ball, you cant tell me hes that much worse at defending then them 3 because they are as poor as they come. tanganga is a championship shithouse, sanchez eats the fucking grass, and dier....just watch the goals against leicester! the mugs afraid to put a challenge in. them 3 playing at the back every game would get you relegated.

If he looks like he won't sign a new contract (not sure we should offer him one in the first place) then surely it makes sense to fire him and try someone willing to commit to the cause.
Frankly, I want him out now. I've watched him for a long time but there's no sign of being an elite manager.

I feel like with Rich, Bissouma, Skipp, Kulu, Romero, Benta, he'd achieve at least a bit more than what Conte has managed.
In hindsight, Dier took him down, the same as he'll take Conte down.
Been in the team of the year last two seasons and had a full season in la liga too
We were very entertaining before that 3-3 draw against west ham , since then he decided he couldn't trust his defender and turn into more defensive approach in order to protect his backline which means he knew exactly where the problem lies
But then in winter window Levy gave him Joe Rodon , the deadwood ( alli , ndombele etc ) was supported by levy and fans instead of him
i think at that point he was like "fck this shit i am out" and start to turn toxic
Who can blame him btw ? I would have done the same
If i was levy i would kept and rebuild with him. what's the point of sacking him only to replace him with mason , nuno , and walmart version of him ( conte ) who ends up spending more money instead of coaching what we have ?
Sacking him was probably not a wrong decision, but to replace him with those manager.. What is the logic behind those decisions?

Dier wasn't Mourinho's biggest problem. His problem was the the team stopped playing after scoring a goal, inviting pressure and eventually conceding.

That's true. The fact that Mourinho just parked the bus all the time is the issue. Maybe he would have got away with it a bit with Romero, Benta, Skipp in the side.
I really don’t want Conte to sign a new contract. I fear having to put up with another 5 years of this slow Italian shit. Any notion that we play entertaining football after that time will be gone
the run in to the end of last season when Son & Kulu were on form we had an attack that got off shots, and a defenders that got blocks in reducing shots the goalie had to save
this season with Son & Kulu injuried or out of form and defenders not blocking shots, we are easy to beat, Its been like this all season so why has Conte not changed things (Formation or players ) some on here still say he is world class but to me a world class manager & his coaches would have changed something

Well, he actually played a grand total of 67 league games for Sporting (scoring nine goals in the process), a grand total of 98 (12 goals) if you include domestic cup games and Europe.
That's without mentioning his 45 games in the tin pot Spanish league (50 including cup games).

I don’t see much wrong with those words. Put them in context, a man returning to play a match in his home country asked about the difference between England and Italy and he says he Italy will be his preferred destination. It’s hardly a surprise.

If anyone thinks Dier, with how slow and immobile he is, is the answer in midfield then they really haven’t been watching our games for the last 4/5 years. He probably has thought about it and like and sane person has thought, fuck no.
