Look mate 5pm is 5pm, he's clocking out whether he's finished his work or not, and he'll be damned if he's going to spend his evenings contemplating Eric Dier as his midfield dynamo, that can wait until 9am!
It's just unfair to consider him as terrible, as you can see , the squad has been reinforce by around 300m , bunch of deadwood has been sold and still there is almost no improvement from what he has done . I rather gave all those money for him instead we would have been in the better place.Mourinho was terrible for us. One of the worst appointments we've ever made. We had a decent spell of a few games at the start of 2020 /21 and then were clinging on with terrible performances. Many of us said it wasnt sustainable and so it proved. The performances from mid December onwards were horrific. In many ways it is a mirror image to this season. A few fortunate wins early on before reality catches up with us. All the time knowing we're limping on with a manager that wont be here much longer.
would probably have davies lb over perisic. its hardly a revolutionary idea a lot of people think its better than having 3 donkeys at the back. by adding another midfielder there is less stress on the defence. but cunty is married to his wing back system no matter what it seems, performances and points seem to be secondary. lenglet also a better CB than the 3 you mentioned just from the fact hes better on the ball, you cant tell me hes that much worse at defending then them 3 because they are as poor as they come. tanganga is a championship shithouse, sanchez eats the fucking grass, and dier....just watch the goals against leicester! the mugs afraid to put a challenge in. them 3 playing at the back every game would get you relegated.Peresic LB, Dier/Sanchez/Tanganga CB
Have you really thought about this?
You think it's some sort of revolutionary idea because it's not been done yet.
Equally it will be as shit as what we are seeing now because of the common denominator i.e personel
this actually scared me! its 14 this season.45 million for a player who has played a grand total of 14 games in the tin pot Portuguese league. Let's hope Porro isn't yet another dud.
If he looks like he won't sign a new contract (not sure we should offer him one in the first place) then surely it makes sense to fire him and try someone willing to commit to the cause. Not really walking, he's out of contract. But otherwise you might be right, however i wouldn't rule it out with a few more performances like Saturday. Milan, and West Ham, Chelsea at home might be interesting.
Mourinho was treated very unfairly imo.
Was sacked 5 days before final and 4 points off top 4
Despite actually over performing with the squad
I feel like with Rich, Bissouma, Skipp, Kulu, Romero, Benta, he'd achieve at least a bit more than what Conte has managed.
Been in the team of the year last two seasons and had a full season in la liga too
We were very entertaining before that 3-3 draw against west ham , since then he decided he couldn't trust his defender and turn into more defensive approach in order to protect his backline which means he knew exactly where the problem lies
Dier wasn't Mourinho's biggest problem. His problem was the the team stopped playing after scoring a goal, inviting pressure and eventually conceding.I feel like with Rich, Bissouma, Skipp, Kulu, Romero, Benta, he'd achieve at least a bit more than what Conte has managed.
In hindsight, Dier took him down, the same as he'll take Conte down.
That's true. The fact that Mourinho just parked the bus all the time is the issue. Maybe he would have got away with it a bit with Romero, Benta, Skipp in the side.Dier wasn't Mourinho's biggest problem. His problem was the the team stopped playing after scoring a goal, inviting pressure and eventually conceding.
Well, he actually played a grand total of 67 league games for Sporting (scoring nine goals in the process), a grand total of 98 (12 goals) if you include domestic cup games and Europe.45 million for a player who has played a grand total of 14 games in the tin pot Portuguese league. Let's hope Porro isn't yet another dud.
Conte:
"I haven't considered Dier as a back up CM as I haven't had time to think of other solutions......"
Surely a manager who's head is in the zone would have mentally thrashed this out almost instinctively......
"Oh shit.... Biss & Bentancur are fucked.... Who else can step in?"
No? ....That thought not occurred? .........Not one of us here haven't chewed this over and none of us are being paid £15m.
