Just pay the fucking money Najafi!!!What is the difference we looking at another 1-1.5 billion? Think if both sides really want it probably won't be a problem to resolve
Hercules would have posted sooner but he couldn’t spell Iraineean, Iraynian, Irranian , ah fuck it, PersianI don’t care what anyone says, Hercules is magnificent.
The idea that this absolute rhubarb would have the first fucking clue about a deal being drawn up by an Iranian American fronted consortium.
‘Has anyone run this past Hercules? Test the waters.’
I am convinced he is trolling and I love it.
Its Eugene levy from American pie!!!
Agreed. But an individual can care about who invests in the club they support, be it Jimmy Saville, Abu Dhabi or any other odious sorts who put an extremely low value and abuse certain groups of human beings.Yes. As I've said before, sportswashing is mostly a Western construct. UAE and other Middle Eastern states invest in sports assets to diversify their revenue streams and build global awareness of their status as a business destination. They couldn't really care less if we like their habits or religion.
He's American
First feeling on this is that Levy/ENIC are not going to be easy to deal with and don't intend to sell the club quite yet. Unless some mad valuation is met. Some hotels and a nice stadium doesn't put our valuation on a par with Manchester United, but they'll demand a lot more than 3bn.
Get it done quickly and we can have a new owner bounce for West ham!![]()
Liverpool isn't that attractive from an investment perspective, UTD neither.I don't believe any of this takeover chat, mostly because following Spurs has turned me into a sourfaced pessimist.
However, surely the very point of ENIC buying Spurs in the first place was to fatten us up and sell at a profit further down the line.
With everything in place, including the venue of choice for the NFL in the UK you'd think that we're now at peak value. Our price won't go any further up now. ENIC may be limited in their football management acumen (although they leave us in a much better state than they found us) but if they're half the businessmen some on here make them out to be then they'll know now is the time to sell.
But I still don't believe there's anyone seriously in for us with Liverpool and United both up for sale at the same time.
They're still global powerhouses in the way we'd never be able to match up with without serious on-field investment over many years.Liverpool isn't that attractive from an investment perspective, UTD neither.
Both need new stadiums and UTD have a disgusting debt situation.
