Like what I've seen of Scott. Looks like if Grealish was a midfield player. Stylish ball carrier, works hard, nice short passing and through ball game.

Will all be loaned or free transfers

No EPL will have any interest, perhaps Forest? All other sides do their due diligence and are well aware they are shit and weird

Amortisation helps but we are probably paying a good part of their wages (ie cash out of the door), so unless loan improves their value (ie sale proceeds) we may yet end up cash out of pocket.

I suspect reason for loan was to see if other clubs are happy to buy players on high wages (almost regardless of fee) to get player off the wage bill without them wanting their Spurs contract paid up.

If conte stays would getting Scott cone under the “club purchase” banner. Can’t help but think with a lot of young players we have a more progressive attacking manger would be better suited.
We could play front 3 of Scott , Kane and kulu. If we play back 4 then get Madison in behind. FBs udigiou and royal / porro / spence although unlikely.

You aren’t considering the P and L. Only looking at price paid five or so years prior, that has a small relevance in the current position. All about the book value here and now
 
We should be looking into the Manor Solomon situation. Fulham had the chance to sign him for 7m in the summer, but preferred to loan him for free using UEFA's special ruling on Ukrainian loans. If they have no option inserted, he'll return to Shakhtar with six months on his contract. He's looking like a player, could be a good Son backup.

Recent results have improved & Grealish's strong performances have been a big part of that.

His numbers have been good post-WC (esp. more assists) and he's generally looked bright. Working harder off the ball too. City fans seem generally happy with how he's been playing lately and he's #1 choice off the left for the Champions.

Simply faced the same adaptation process Mahrez did.
