Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think this can be good with some actual defenders who can play in tight areas and don't panic on the ball, the whole point of Conte ball is to lure the opposition in and our players have to be calm and press resistant, only Romero has that quality, we still have key position to upgrade.

But we shouldn't be at this stage after getting knocked out the FA Cup by two Championship teams back to back and no clear sign of improvement a year on

So I am currently split - if he commits then great get behind him whatever, if not then I'm not overly bothered.
Which is one of the problems, we don't seem to have much of a gameplan if the opposition don't fall for the most obvious trap ever.

Don't care if Conte is committed to us or not, I'm sick of his brand of "football". There's zero excitement watching us these days.
This club never ceases to disappoint, given we know that will happen ill settle for some entertainment watching our matches. The dross we are served up week on week is woeful, what on earth do they do in training every week?!

£15m a year for stagnant, negative and largely ineffective tactics. Totally inflexible. Arrogant and has an ego to rival Mourinho.

Nuno with a fucking wig.

As opposed to some of the losses under Poch :

14/14 - 2-1 loss at home to Leicester in FA Cup

15/16 - 1-0 loss at home to Crystal Palace in FA Cup

17/18 - 3-2 loss at home to West Ham after being 2-0 up in the League Cup

18/19 - 2-0 loss away at Palace in the FA Cup,

19/20 - Loss to Colchester on penalties in the League Cup

Or Mourinho?

19/20 - Loss to Norwich on penalties in the FA Cup.

20/21 - Lose 5-4 to Everton in the FA Cup

Did you not see that 0 goal scored ? At least 5-4 were entertaining

It doesn’t matter who we have in charge. I have now come to accept I don’t think i will ever see Spurs lift a trophy in my lifetime and I’m only 37. Sorry state of affair’s under a failed regime.

Unlikely sadly. The 4th spot trophy is still doable which is what the club is all about. Levy is always behind the curve and will let it slowly bleed out through the rest of the season with a disinterested manager, players and a lot of fans.
Sadly, I agree this is the reality. But it shouldn’t be, whoever comes in next season should get a head start with the club planning for the long term.

If we do nothing now just to appoint Poch or Tuchel in the summer then quite frankly i just give up. If its someone currently in a job like De Zerbi then i get it but you know with Levy it will be the former. If so, just get them in now to assess the squad and at least get a new manager bounce. He wont though, compensation to all those staff and a risk of upsetting fans who sing Contes name will be on his mind. The good of the team and long term strategy always the last thought.
