I don’t know a single poster who hasn’t criticised aspects of the running of the club, no matter the calls of ENIC Lovers, etc.

We have good enough players to win these matches. Our manager should be good enough to improve these players, provide tactical direction and instil a winning mentality. But, it’s not happening. I’m at a loss to explain why, but we are certainly at a crossroads here. Either the owners pony up with some strong investment in the squad in the summer, tie the manager down to a longer contract and get rid of all the behind the scenes bollocks. Or, rip it up and start again. Christ knows where their thinking is right now.

I’d be as bold to say the penny will never drop for you.

Don’t think there’s a penny that needs to drop. You say that as if you are on a higher intellectual plane than I am and can see things I don’t. I’m no idiot, I’m just maybe more patient and understanding? You may well be right in saying things will never change, but I hold on to hope they will. What’s life without hope?

As for Levy knowing about football, I imagine he knows a fuck load more than I do, having operated in the game for about three decades. But he doesn’t know everything, so relies on fellow board members and staff to take things forward. I don’t know if he thinks he knows football or not, never spoken to the man.

I agree. As you are aware, my respect for you isn’t really obvious to the naked eye, but will ratchet up a bit if you do go to the demo. At long last, someone on here who doesn’t just constantly moan, but actually does something constructive.

I’ll wave on my way past.

Yeah its amazing isnt it? A guy thats been in the game for nigh on 3 decades. Still making the same mistakes he did 17 years ago. I find that incredulous.

You would have thought he would have learnt by now, if not by experience at least by example.

but i do think you have a blind spot here. Patience in sport is a weakness. unless you have a plan.

Levy has never had a plan. apart from using Tottenham as leverage to make money.
