Match Spurs vs Brighton, Sat 8 April, 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don’t think they were outnumbered. We flooded the midfield area with players. So much so we had no one wide or forwards as options when we won the ball back. They have it easy tbh. Just shunting the ball sideways/back and not much space to cover defensively.
We flooded the midfield? With who? Son and Kulu ain't midfielders, they also stayed up front doing fuck all half the game. So who else? Porro and perisic? The reason we could not get out of our own half is because they owned the midfield. Tends to go that way in football. The reason we are shit is because we have only 2 midfielders on the pitch an one of them is peh...

I will take the 3 points but we were very lucky, Brighton should have had a pen and at least one of those goals VAR disallowed imo.

I just think the officials are trying to make the top four race more interesting at this point, corrupt as fuck. If we were Brighton today we would have been livid.

Anyway, happy to get the 3 points regardless, COYS.

Also, Zerbi was annoyed because pre-game Stellini said that his team has only been good because of Potter before him, that's according to Sky Sports anyway.

Not sure why Stellini was sent off though as he didn't get involved.

Fuck me, a desperately needed win but it was painful watching.

We were incredibly lucky, saved by VAR three times basically. Once correctly, once I'm not so sure and once, for the life of me, I can't see how they weren't awarded a stone-cold penalty that we would have been screaming for.

And that's ignoring the fact that Brighton outplayed us for, what, 80% of the game? More maybe?

I've never been one for frantic "XXX out, "Get out of my club now" stuff (mainly because living abroad I have little financial and time/effort investment, unlike loads of you lot). But I won't criticise a single one of you who wants Stellini out, Levy out, ENIC out, any other cunt out.

Ossie and Glenn in. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK and fuck the consequences.

Im happy we got the 3 points, but fuck me we were lucky.
I can't stand being dominated at home by a team like Brighton.
It was a hard watch, barring the sideline antics.

All I’m gonna say after that is, I don’t want that twat Brighton manager anywhere near this club. de Zig Zag passes. He spent the whole game winding up our bench for some reason. The press conferences should be interesting

Fuck him and fuck Brighton. That’s what they get. They lost their heads the cunts. First time in a long time where we’re on the good end of the ref’s stick

At half time I was expecting to lose. I still do not know how we did it but happy with 3 points. All the VAR decisions were right despite the commentator on my stream going on and on that Brighton should have had a penalty. However we will not get 4th playing like that.

Stellini gets sent off if the bench is out of control even though he wasn’t involved. That’s the rules.

A caller on radio earlier (I didn’t hear it—a mate text me to tell me) said apparently that De Zerbi and Stellini were rowing in tunnel before the game kicked off. Don’t know if that’s true or there’s any history between them.

I think Stellini accused De Zerbi of inheriting a good side built by Potter

De Zerbi is an annoying little cunt and had to have a go back

That's a super result against a very, very good side. We got lucky in that they should have had a pen, but fuck that, we shouldn't have had a pen against us vs Southampton.

We've won 16 games this season, only Woowlich and City and after today Man U have won more. This is why we aren't changing stuff.

This is the plan - don't change anything and trust that we've got good enough individual players (we have) that get us over the line. The team have at least been drilled to play this way, and we've addressed the toxicity of Conte - The football will be like this until the end of the season, really bad to watch but now it's not about entertainment it's all about the result.

I don't know if this approach will work but that's 4 points from 6 vs Chavs 0 from 3 and Leicester 0-3 who ditched their managers at approx the same time as us!

Lads went toe to toe today, didn't back down and fought. That's 7 wins from 10 against a Brighton team that plays more attractive football than us - our better players being the difference.

Can't wait for the season to end though and this is quite stressful.

Up the Spurs!

Hahaha how the fuck did we walk away with 3 points.?

About time we had some luck with VAR.

Any truth in the rumours that Stellini had a pop at De Zebra by saying, you're only good because it's Potters team?
That's what I just heard but who knows
Yeh , apparently , according to Sky , Stellini said in the Italian media in the week , that his success was all down to Potters hard work . Looks like that didn’t go down to well , what a shame !
