Levy In or Levy Out

Poch joins Chelsea and harnesses the talent on that squad to win a cup.

That's me done with this club until change of ownership.

Apathetic fan base, too many contrarian voices who like to sing praises of last 20 years, that weaken the one message that matters and will actually help them and the rest of the fans in the long run.

The Utd game might be an exception , but I reckon the stats Levy will be getting back from ticket exchange for our other home games, ref massively increased resale requests might give him some indigestion.

Poch is the only packet of Rennies available now I think
I think they've fucked it with Poch. Pretty clear the board dont want him and any approach now will smack of total desperation. Thats no basis for a long term tenure. Wheras Chelsea clearly want him in and he's got more to work with.

Lol so stellini is going to be sacked after 4 games with another interim placed in charge, there’s absolutely no defending this. These clowns clearly have no fucking clue what to do

Stellini isn't getting sacked, no idea why people think this is the case - ENIC aren't going to publicly admit they made yet another mistake in hiring him so best get used to it, he's got what 6 games left?

#thfc Cristian Stellini's position in serious doubt, with Spurs considering another change after yesterday's humiliation at Newcastle. Ryan Mason is the obvious candidate as another interim.

It would be a disservice to not recognise some of the good they have done. They have delivered fantastic infrastructure to support the squad. Top four always used to be the holy grail and they have now finished there seven of the last 14 years. Over the last two decades we have been in 14 semi-finals, made it to six finals (including the champions League) and only won one of them.

We have been close - but ENIC have never had the appetite to take the risk and gamble on victory. The safe, cost effective & sensible route is chosen. Firing Mourinho days before a cup final was the icing on the cake. Worried that he would meet contractual stipulations that would cost the club money - they opted to fire him rather than win a trophy.

I applaud ENIC for getting the team this far WITHOUT the befit of rich Oligarch; and without resorting to bending the rules of FFP. But they simply do not have what it takes to get the club to the next level - and that is a WIN AT ALL COSTS attitude.

However, as Spurs fans we should also look to the positives. Spurs developed Bale into one of the worlds best and most decorated footballers. Multiple golden boot winner (EPL and World Cup) Kane came from the Spurs academy. Those achievements for the club are as good as any trophy; and will certainly hold more treasured memories and more history than winning the Milk Cup.

Spurs need to stop trying to aspire to be Chelsea light. Go back to being Spurs. Get some exciting players that want to be here and revive the underdog spirit.
That's all very nice and flowery and all that, but we HAD made it to the Holy Grail under Poch and were NOT underdogs in any way, shape or form, please drop this underdog nonsense, I've read it on here before, it's as nauseating as the being poor myth as the 8th richest club in the world . We were top 4 regulars and got to a CL final. It's the period since then that I have a problem with. That was the crossroads point and Levy managed to miss every road and instead fell in a roadside ditch. We were on the verge of glory and enic's reaction was to drop Poch into the poo by not spending a penny on a player for 18 months, a new PL record. Then to add insult to injury sack him for failing! Think about that because they are facts.
It's the period since then when Levy and enic got found out and the years since then have been a shitshow of the highest order with everything Levy touched turning to shit. 72 days without a manager, 2 managers guaranteed to win trophies failing due to a lack of support in the players THEY wanted. Levy meddling throughout with his kiss of death which has culminated in the current embarrassing mess we saw yesterday. This is a team that is in shellshock as Levy continues digging his hole ever deeper and taking the club down with him.

Yeah but;

The overall wage bill stayed within ENIC's limitations and we didn't do a Leeds.

To dare is too dear.

I think that would be ridiculous move tbh. Levy's choice not to stick with Conte and keep his coaching staff on, what happens if Mason loses a couple of games? He gets sacked too?

Levy and ENIC are delusional and I think they are in for a rude awakening next season, it's the beginning of the end for them now.

People say that Levy's only interest is getting into the champions league.

If thats the case does he spend the money this summer to try and get us back there?

Doubt it. Top 4 is the main goal as it makes us financially sustainable & powers revenue growth, but he won't risk said financially sustainabiltiy to force the issue. He'll look at the amount of teams battling for 4th next season and will see a big financial gamble on 4th as not worth it.

We spend what we earn & frankly when all the loan to buys are paid off and the dust clears with no European football money coming in, what we earn isn't going to get us a big window. And Lewis is not going to be dipping in to his pocket. Next summer will be reliant on sell to buy and being clever in the market imo - so we better all cross our fingers and hope the next DoF is a wizard.

In other words, levy has fucked this right up
