That lot, send Lenglet and Danjuma packing. Dump the loanees due to come back (apart from Spence and Gil) and we're well on the way. Would still leave Dier, Tanganga and Sess but would be a great start to a rebuild.

Fair enough. To be fair I'd rather Szoboszlai but we'll have missed the boat on that one. Thinking about it, I agree that Alex Scott would be a wiser signing (Spurs lad, too). Would allow Kokcu to be the 'default' starter with the younger Scott pushing to get into the team.
Christ, spend on Danjuma, Kulu and Porro and we'll have no money left. It'll be the SAME SQUAD next season.

No Laporte or a marquee is what I meant he’s one of the top targets needs to be signed off by the new manager tho but this is being discussed with the leading candidate.
Problem with taking Laporte from City is it opens the perfect squad place for Gvardiol.

Will be a 70-80m transfer. Newcastle sniffing... Just never going to be a Spurs transfer. Class player though.
One of those players where it feels like he would have made sense to go in for a year or two years ago rather than snooze on. Ultimately though, we'll just have to turn our attention elsewhere because to succeed we're going to have to be snapping up the cheaper ones with potential.
