One can have debt and profit at the same time - every practically corporation on the planet has debt. We make the payments on the debt same as we pay all our other required expenses. What's left over is profit - revenue in excess of our obligated expenditures.

You clearly don't understand logic, the term suppositon or premise are outwith your vocabulary and your desire to protect levy is not only pathetic but clearly paid for.

Did man city have a net spend last year? Simple yes or no. Did we outspend them? simple yes of no. Did levy lead the charge against city which has even resulted in pep hating him - yes or no. Disagree on the billion. I fucking hate our stadium but from a financial point of view it’s not a barrier at the moment. Generates 100M more than the old ground, costs 25M in finance/borrowing. That could of course change and it will be 85M without CL, perhaps less the year after if ticket sales decline

In your terms, I'd posit that there is probably not a single football club in England, if not Europe and beyond, "in the black".

Which renders your entire point moot. At this point, I'm not even sure what your point was as every PL club has debt and therefore, according to you, doesn't turn a profit.

No doubt if you like it not the stadium has enhanced us as a club.

I looked at the accounts as far as you can online & it has brought in good revenue so far since opening.

Yes we are in debt but we can service it.

I'm not sure if ticket sales will decline. We have a large waiting list & no matter how much people scream most will not want to give it up & go to the back of the line.

I totally understand the mood at the moment though.
