Club are waiting for renewals before announcing an appointment.

Is it because announcing Rodgers early may have been detrimental to renewals / new season ticket sales?
Speculation about Nagelsmann and Poch may have actually been beneficial in this respect?

Is my order. I'd be up for Luis Enrique for the football style and his fit with the players we currently have.
I get the questions about him as a long term appointment though but you never know, maybe he finds a home. He's nowhere near the level or prick that Jose and Conte are.

Well from what's left I can only see Nagelsmann being a better option than Poch.
If Rodgers is appointed, gets Maddison, some centre backs and retains Harry Kane it could work.
Rodgers will not be a popular choice but he has experience and a decent track record in the Premier League in terms of win ratio and style of play.
Nagelsmann might be hanging on for the City job.
Just feels like another 18-24 month appointment where we try to wring a little more water out of this same squad.
