Club are waiting for renewals before announcing an appointment.I got told about Rodgers before Conte started playing up.
Leicester went off a cliff and Conte was doing everything he could to invite the sack.
It looked to me as though once Conte knew he wasn't being retained he lost interest and Levy had begun his search.
Rodgers fits Levy's M.O.
Chalk another off. Luis Enrique seems close to Napoli for what its worth.
Is it because announcing Rodgers early may have been detrimental to renewals / new season ticket sales?Club are waiting for renewals before announcing an appointment.
Yeah just saw that so deleted my post, not in time dammit. Personally i dont want him, just feels a similar path to Jose and Conte albeit better football.
You can walk wherever you like. I'll just enjoy the laugh.Yes mate.
I will look forward to that.
I will never be able to walk in Memphis again I take it?
You get out much?
At least he hasn't managed Chelsea.Nagelsmann
Luis Enrique
Posty
Is my order. I'd be up for Luis Enrique for the football style and his fit with the players we currently have.
I get the questions about him as a long term appointment though but you never know, maybe he finds a home. He's nowhere near the level or prick that Jose and Conte are.
Daily.
I don't like to come across as a cynical old boy, but that thought had crossed my mind.Is it because announcing Rodgers early may have been detrimental to renewals / new season ticket sales?
Speculation about Nagelsmann and Poch may have actually been beneficial in this respect?
It depends on who gets the Spurs job.I'm starting to think that not offering the job to Poch again will be a bad idea.
At least he hasn't managed Chelsea.
Just seems like the next up in what's proven to be a failed strategy since Poch. Club is crying out for a fresh start, Enrique isn't it.
Well from what's left I can only see Nagelsmann being a better option than Poch.It depends on who gets the Spurs job.
It could go either way for both clubs.
If Rodgers is appointed, gets Maddison, some centre backs and retains Harry Kane it could work.Well from what's left I can only see Nagelsmann being a better option than Poch.
Just feels like another 18-24 month appointment where we try to wring a little more water out of this same squad. Why not?
As long as a DIF comes in that works well with him.
We need a good coach and a clear idea if what we want to do. Enrique has a clear idea in how to play.
Is the City job about to be vacant? If Rodgers is appointed, gets Maddison, some centre backs and retains Harry Kane it could work.
Rodgers will not be a popular choice but he has experience and a decent track record in the Premier League in terms of win ratio and style of play.
Nagelsmann might be hanging on for the City job.
