surely we need to get rid of some deadwood first, but that can only start as soon as we get a Manager, DoF and the Football head officer in

I´ve had some time on my hands(yes i´m pathetic, Spurs is my life) and checking up our players market values on Transfermarkt and made a list of players i don´t think are up to scratch anymore and needs to be sold. I´ve first written their market value according to Transfermarkt, and then in parathesis numbers we could get for them, counting low.

Players not good enough:

Ndombele £22m (£15m)
Dier £22m (£10m)
Royal £22m (£15m)
Sessegnon £19m (£15m)
Sanchez £17,5m (£10m)
Reguilon £13m (£10m)
Winks £10,5m (£6m)
Tanganga £8m (£4m)
Rodon £7m (£4m)
Lloris £3,5m (Free)
White £600k (Free)
Whiteman £300k (Free)
Moura Free (Free)
Lenglet Loan (Free)
Danjuma Loan (Free)

On full market value we would recoup £145,4m for those players, and counting low we would recoup £64m! So let´s say we got rid of all those players we would recoup anything between £64m - £145,4m

And then we have a category of players we should at least contemplate selling to bring in more transfer funds, listed as above:

Players contemplating selling:

Hoijbjerg £40m (£35m)
Davies £17,5m (£10m)
Lo Celso £16m (£10m)
Gil £10,5m (£7m)
Perisic £8,5m (£2m)

With current market value these players would recoup £92,5m, and counting low they would recoup £64m! So we could recoup somewhere between £64m - £92,5m
I don’t think any of the first nine will recoup a fee, we will have to pay them to go as no-one will match their wages. There are only about ten clubs in world football that would level our wages and none of those clubs will want those dreggs

United are after a GK.

Ten Slags said it direct quote.

We don't know what kind of keeper we need because we don't have a coach.

Raya's strengths are long kicks, throws and saving long shots. Perfect for deep block, counter-attack teams.

If we get a coach that wants possession and a GK that can tippy tap in the build-up, Raya is hopeless for that.

Wouldn't say he's hopeless tbf

His distribution is miles ahead both short and long of Hugo and Fraizer
Yeah agreed, he's no Ederson but his foot skills are better than we have now.

In the build-up he's really not great.

Being better than Hugo or Fraser doesn't mean he's good for a possession-based coach.

He could improve with the right coach and his long distribution is really good but right now, he's perfectly suited to what Conte and Jose needed, not what a JN, LE, or even AP would need.

Ange plays with Joe Hart in goal :/

How can you possibly know this?
How often do Brentford play this style of football and how often have you actually witnessed it?

It's my opinion. What the fuck do I know?

But when I've watched Brentford he's been a calamity against the press in the build up.

I haven't seen every game of the season.

Tbh i just chucked AP in there. Haven't watched a minute of Celtic.

LE def prefers Unai Simon though and this could be part of the reason why.

Actual quotes from the agent...

Seems perfectly set up for the classic Spurs transfer saga.

Drags on the entire summer as we haggle, we even start the season with Forster in goal and eventually, sign Raya fon a loan to buy for 39m and 50p in 12 installments.

Meanwhile any of our rivals that are after GKs get their targets done before we even have a manager or DOF.

Exciting summer ahead.

Better than doing a Leeds.
