That would be great but why would they let him go? They'd have to get similar quality to replace him.
Well if they don't want to cough up the price that Levy is asking for Kane, then it's a way around that. of course there's nothing to say that he'd be interested in coming to Spurs or to play under Ange but I just think if they don't have the money for Kane it could be a way forward.
It's the one position we could probably fill without needing to consult Ange or the incoming DoF whoever that might be.

I don't think he would be interested in coming to us at all, we are a club with no plan, who have been out done by West Ham and Leicester. Levy has to swallow his pride, Kane is not going to sign a new contract, so the choice is clear. Take what money we can now or lose him on a free. RM have the upper hand here.
Yeah unless they have some other player that we could do with who is out of favour there, as a part exchange, the sort of deal that we did with Gil.
But I think we'd have to wait for Ange to be fully in his post first for that, ie after 1st July

They don't. Harry has the advantage everything technically in his court. He can force Levy to sell, he could stay and leave next season wherever he wants for a free or he could sign a new deal. The fact is no one knows what Harry Kane wants. RM will not follow up on Kane, I still think they have an eye on Mbappe or Haaland in a years time they would be statement signings to replace Benzema. I believe they will adjust their system in the short term and play Rodrygo up front or sign someone like Richarlison, Jesus or Alvarez, to be a stop gap.
Maybe Big Ange thinks he can get a tune out of some of our players who are on loan. it';s a bit worrying because they'd probably do well for a short while before reverting back into being shit.
If that happens he'll be gone.
We can’t change the entire team in one summer and I don’t expect us too, I suspect a handful of players will be a stopgap

If they do well under Ange initially, there is no reason why they would not continue to do well. I'm pretty sure Ange would see to that. However, I would prefer if when they did do well, rather than saying they're a valuable part of the team, we sold them for a tidy fee and brought in some new talent.

It's always going to be a worry when a new manager comes into his role and the loaned out (unpopular for good reason) players are coming back from their loan spells.
I appreciate there has to be a reconnoiter to a certain degree but there’s a lot of easy decisions if you follow football
And as everyone knows a managers time in the job is not that long and decreasing every season. So if you take an age assessing players losing points ganes ticking by making wrong decisions even after all that you end up with a Mercedes W13 and then you’re well fucked
