You don't need to be convinced. Some do.... The post I originally replied to was doing just that.
It's incredibly passe, isn't it.
The Fighting Cock is a forum for fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Here you can discuss Spurs latest matches, our squad, tactics and any transfer news surrounding the club. Registration gives you access to all our forums (including 'Off Topic' discussion) and removes most of the adverts (you can remove them all via an account upgrade). You're here now, you might as well...
I’d take that over a Buyako Saka tribute act.
He has nightmares about itAre showing ambition, they are going in for players like Rice.
Don't you ever dream of Spurs showing a bit of ambition?
Good.No-one can pretend it never happened with you around to remind them every other post.
But we all know the arguments to/for ENIC.Yeah we do. But I kinda think Levy / ENIC are a pretty influential factor in our summer transfer business.
I’d argue we had an opportunity to do more than stay there.
If the club had the fucking minerals to invest in the players Poch needed to improve his squad, who knows where we could have been moving into the new stadium.
“Staying there” is actually a very good proxy for what ENIC see as an acceptable level of ambition and is one of the reasons they don’t really understand that they own a football club, not just a football business.
Anyway, it’s fucking boring. Postecoglou looks like the kind of coach who could get them the opportunity again. Let’s hope they have learned the lesson.
According to the well respected source, FORBES, the MOST profitable footballYou just want to make excuses all the time for the clubs penny pinching.
There is nothing (beyond ENIC) stopping us offering big wages. We are a very profitable club. But we don't even try and compete on that kind of level.
Or even Harvey White?Hatate, Kamada, Eze, Lee Kang-in, Samardzic, Gabri Veiga, Carlos Alcaraz, Koopmeiners, Lovro Majer, Enzo Le Fee, Alex Scott. All different types, some I wouldn't personally want, but there's plenty out there who could add spark, goals, creativity as an advanced or deeper position. Somebody who could pass like Koopmeiners from deeper areas would be nice.
A series of pretenders have come along and tried to steal his crown with their own creative spins on the formulaI'd call you a jr something in response, but you're like the original ENIC simp. The blueprint for everyone to follow.
Bore off and take it to the Levy/ENIC thread where we can happily ignore your profound predictions like the stadium will never get built.Yeah we do. But I kinda think Levy / ENIC are a pretty influential factor in our summer transfer business.
Transfer debates will never be ENIC free, sadly. There is ebb and flow for all the clubs at the top end of the league. That's just how it is.... There's only 1 club that's been consistently challenging for the title 9 out of the last 10 seasons.
Amen.
Plenty of relatively enjoyable player-talk going on in this thread until the some twat waded in moaning about Newcastle being richer than us.
Not if the system calls for playing with two 8s.So theoretically you could fit both in the same time. Not that I think we will sign Scott anyway.
