As with any potential signing I'm thinking about whether they'd fit well into Ange's system. Sancho doesn't immediately come to mind in that sense, though perhaps he'd be decent at pressing? We certainly don't need any more brainless players.

I'd prefer to build a new young team who are going to be more receptive to ange's methods. Maddison turning 27 in november and who very often misses a chunk of the season with a reaccuring knee and hip injuries trying to aggrisively press sounds like a bad fit

His stock has risen dramatically since we were last in for him, but he's still a bang average player who isn't the sort of midfielder the squad needs.
Think he could be a very decent Prem #6. Can run for days, positioning smart and dribbles through pressure well.

Makes NO sense. Maddison will move this summer, he needs it, Leicester need it. The longer the summer goes, the more the price comes down. We will know that, so will Newcastle.
Maddison wants to move to Spurs if Spurs want him and we are prepared to pay a reasonable fee we get him. Its about (as ever) you no who.....
