Agreed. If you put it in the context of Levy's remarks I think there will have to be some significant outgoing to offset whatever spending is done. If you look at the players other than Kane or Son who might bring a significant return it would be Hjojberg, Dier, Lloris, Richarlison, and Kulu. Lloris is one foot out the door and I think you have to move two or three of the remaining four.
Dier bring in significant money...no way. lLloris will be a free amd we don’t own Dejan.....come on now

Can someone who has looked into the finances tell me why Woolwich can shop in the Rice/Caicedo/Havertz aisle and we have to shop in the bargain basement with 25-30m punts?

For starters, they finished in a Champions League spot - which gains them additional revenues.

They will expect to be challenging to win the EPL and Champions League next season - therefore there is some gamble to their investment - i.e. if they win nothing; they are out of pocket.

Spurs on the other hand are building a squad the challenge in the future - and our aim this season will be to finish in a top 4 position and gain a domestic cup.

And of course, we already have a 100m + star player, and a 60m backup.

Spurs fan and mates with Alfie Devine. I hope Daniel doesn't find out about him wanting to come or we'll get another Spence situation.

I like the kid. Looks like a lot of fun to watch play.
