Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm optimistic, actually quite excited. Don't expect to be competitive against the top dogs but we will give most a good game. Would be happy with us getting top 8 and just a stable season with a team that beds in and works well together, anything that is top 6 is a real achievement. Bottom half would be disappointing, but wouldn't surprise me...albeit I don't expect we will be.
So optimistic of you to be happy with 8th. I am pessimistic but I think we will easily be 6th. Villa and Brighton wont be ahead of us two seasons in a row.

Transition, transition, transition. We've been in transition since Poch left !!!!

We've got a clear run at the league with no European distractions, a pretty deep squad, Kane is still here next season, Ange is apparently fucking brilliant .. but 8th would be decent? Emery went from mid-table to 7th in half a bloody season.

The MINIMUM expectation should be to get back in to the Europa League. If Ange can't manage that, then he won't be lasting long.
We had a bad season last year , but the year before that we finished in the top 4. People are taking things too far to be happy with finishing 8th . I think we should be capable of finishing ahead of Villa and Brighton and end up with 6th with any average manager. I have no clue how Ange will deal with our squad or if he can make the step up from scotland to the PL, but since many have been saying hes so great, , surely that means top 5 or top 4 or at least the level of football Redknapp and Poch had us playing.

Am im the only one feeling totally "meh" about the new season? I am just not feeling the wave of optimism that hiring Ange has created for some of you.

I'm sure once the first game rolls around, I'll have convinced myself that we can win the league. But right now...tough to muster up a semi. Sorry Ange.
I can't get excited until the deadwood has gone. We could get bought out by a trillionaire, hire the best coach ever, shout from the rooftops about ambition etc etc etc

But if we kick off the season with a squad containing Dier, Davies, Sessegnon, Winks, Ndombele, GLC, Lloris and possibly PEH, I just can't get on the hype train.

People have totally convinced themselves that a coach with no history in a seriously hard league, can transform anyone and whatever players he wants are the right ones.
They're probably at best the right budget for Greedy.

I want to be wrong. I want to want to go games again rather than just using it for a bit of "me time"

its the signings and the deadwood that would make or break this season for me, a few of the names linked are meh, not expecting world beaters but at the same time we need to improve this 11

As you are perfectly entitled to aswell.
Worst cunt off ever!

That should be the bare minimum really shouldnt it?

The last 4 years have really made us lower our standards about what to expect on a match day. I want him to firstly win us games and then secondly make me want to enjoy going again. Actually either way around will do.
We’re not going to win games early on in the season.

At a very basic level, everyone in the league knows how we’re going to play. We will play out from the back, without fail, and team will put us under constant pressure (as they have been, for the past two seasons).

The entire success of this new era is predicated upon the basis of our defense not shitting the bed.

The players I've listed have just irked me so much for so long that I never want to see them in a Spurs shirt. That thought alone is making me sick of Spurs.
Towards the end of the Poch era, a weak mentality developed and it's just got worse and worse save for the run in during 21/22
Outside of those 14? games, we've been bottling big occasions, hiding when under pressure and the constant unforced errors are beyond comedy.

Yes, I know a lot of the players I listed haven't been on the pitch or have been out on loan. But I don't think our squad can move on with these cretins attached in any way shape or form to the club.
I forgot Rodon, Tanganga, Reguilon and probably Gil too.

Nothings ever gonna change if we have so many who contribute(d) so little
