Is this guy referring to us or their chairman?

Dude no one talks about players 3 or 4 years after their transfer fee still being part of that years budget.

For the loan to buy players, the purchase counts one time, either when the loan is made OR when the purchase is made.

People that double count it are idiots. People that count it zero times are also idiots.

With Porro we literally paid more (by means of sacrificing some of Edward's sell on %) so we could pay in installments too........

We probably tried that with Gollini and it didn’t work out. Ambitious keepers aren’t coming to sit on the bench for two years while we fall out of love and contract with Hugo. Foster is an adequate (and HG) backup — in line with the standard of most Prem backups. Raya, FWIW, I’ve read was beaten by more shots from outside the box than any other keeper.
On this one, I’m trusting my Serie A watching friend who reckons we’ve got the bargain of the window.

I’ve worked in NL and with the Dutch since 2005.

They assured me Gomes was amazing and Sanchez was going to be a star.

Premier league just kicks a bit different I guess.

Hopefully our new Gk goes onto to be a club legend.
But GKs have always been loved at WHL. Even the shit ones.

Gomes had a couple of very good seasons sandwiched in between calamitous ones to be fair

. You’re a good poster.
The fact that someone like The Absolute GOAT The Absolute GOAT , who is regularly vocally critical of the ownership, gets the Levy-Fan digs thrown at him at the drop of a hat for showing objectivity is utterly emblematic of the blinkered stupidity at play.

Oooh, look.

Two unlikely lovebirds having a little tryst

Agreed. Why was Deki mentioned as a signing last season and now he is being mentioned again. The same happened with Romero. Under which manager was he signed? He was mentioned with Nuno and Conte. I'm agreeing with what you say. But I've noticed that players get refered to signings in two different seasons.

Milan, Inter, Bayern. That's the list.

Which club was Raya linked with?
It's amazing what a little reading can achieve in ones life.

Maddison will finally fill the Eriksen size hole we have had for the past few years. Very good signing, he’ll add a cutting edge to our attack 100%.

When I think about it he’s more of a hybrid of Dele and Eriksen in that he can pick a pass, make delayed runs into the box, link midfield and attack as well as score goals. The more I think about it it’s an exciting signing.
Madison will set Kane up for so many goals……oh hang on a minute though. Buggef.

Where is this happening? Do you mean the transfer announcements? Of course the club is going to announce both. They are loaning a player one window and then in a later one they are buying them. No sane person counts the transfer amount against both budgets.

Maddison "is currently staying in London in preparation after returning from Ibiza today."

Carlton Cole flashbacks, when he allegedly was still hungover & fell off the treadmill during the medical, causing us to the cancel the deal.

Probably an urban legend but having seen Carlton's new career as a "football analyst", not so difficult to believe....
Just seen him at the Chiswick Palace and Suites, Best Western. Followed him from Stamford Brook.
