Rondon?
Still don’t think he was ever really given a chance with us , looked great for Wales in the few games i saw him , maybe GOAT GOAT knows better as he’s from the valleys!

Definitely not from the valleys, butt!!

And Rodon has done a decent job for Wales (though not recently!).

He’s nowhere near good enough for us though. Champo level really but could do a job for a side like Luton.

Palkin - Shakhtar Donetsk’s chief executive - said of 'free agent' Soloman:
“I contacted Solomon and his agent and invited him back to our club. I said: ‘you can play all the games in Champions League, you will be in the starting eleven’ but he doesn’t want to move and I believe he will stay in England."

“Where he will go? I don’t know. In any case, if you go to Tottenham, we will deal with Tottenham in court in this case. Everything comes to a simple situation: it sounds like unjust enrichment. Can you imagine, we pay big money for this player and finally Tottenham receives him for free? It is not fair in respect of our club. We will definitely go to court and we will fight for ourselves.”

He added: “I would like to send a message to those clubs who are trying to sign our players without paying a transfer fee: Shakhtar will file claims for unjust enrichment against players or clubs who have enriched themselves and benefitted by obtaining a financial advantage.”
Got a link for that story?

I doubt it's true. Can't be getting rid of more homegrown players.
No point in keeping players that probably won’t play though. Maybe there’s plans to replace him with another HG🤷‍♂️
The thing with Skipp is he willing to sit and be a bit part player at his age? He could end up wasting a year of his career then realise he has to move on. He also might play and Ange will like him for all we know.

I don’t get the “bit part” player though , if we have European football again next season we need 2 players for every position , Skipp is a very good squad player

I don't see any reason for rushing to sell Skipp, he was much better before his injury and maybe his confidence has diminished, let's wait until January and see how he goes. He might get more game time if PEH leaves.

A very odd decision if true and not much point if we replace him with someone who is just the same level he is.
Don’t even know what Skipps level is, or what kind of team he’s suited to.

Jose and Conte loved him for tactical discipline bc that’s their shit.

Ange seems more interested in your ability to run and play the ball.

Either way, the shirt means something to him so worth having decent look at how he responds to Ange coaching. He does have a pass on him when he’s in the mood and he can put boot in

Hmm but is it Ange's decision? A bit strange that people talk about him giving new chances to outcasts, like GLC, Ndombele and Reggie but he has yet to see Skipp kick a ball in preseason but decided he's not good enough.

This is bollox surely, I know I might be in the minority but I wouldn’t want to sell him at all.

I wouldn’t want to sell him but I’m sure we are open to offers for almost every single player on the books. Apart from Kane and Son there is nobody who can really claim they would be missed.

A story saying we would “consider an offer” isn’t really news or an indication that we are desperate to sell. It’s just the reality that we have a squad full of average players.
