Agree, if I was Ange he would be the one I would try and extend an arm around. I strongly believe he’s only an attacking player; never a 6/8. Can beat people for fun and slot diags….. I do think players like Lloris and Kane have helped him a bit bit think you raise a fair point
From listening to that podcast Ange did, I don’t think he is the type to put an arm around the shoulder? Players seem to love him though so guess we’ll see if he can get something out of Ndombele. Because bloody hell if he can get fit and sort out his attitude he could be one hell of a player

He doesn't like to get too close to the players. You're right.

Fabrizio Romano, on his Here We Go Podcast, claimed that Spurs have now placed the Burkina Faso-born defender as their priority.

“I keep saying that Tapsoba is a priority target because they [Spurs] love Tapsoba. Tottenham's scouts have been there many times this year to follow Tapsoba. So, he is a player they really love, and they feel he is perfect for Premier League football,” Romano said.

“He is a leader. So, there are many factors in a deal and Tottenham think he is a fantastic option.”

Tapsoba, who pockets £52,000 per week, has two years left on his contract but may be on the move before his Leverkusen contract expires.

What did Rudy Galetti say about Tottenham Hotspur and Edmond Tapsoba?

Speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “On the table, there are around €25m and the German club is concretely evaluating this proposal. Last winter, Woolwich asked them for him but then now they decide to go for Timber, who is close as well.

“So, the Burkina Faso player [Tapsoba], we can say that is one step away from joining Tottenham. In the next few days, they will push and close the deal positively.”

Never seen him play, didn’t know who he was a few weeks ago… now I’d be jumping for joy if we signed him.

Welcome to the transfer market.

Fuckin ridiculous

En Nesyri is the one who rings a bell, seem to remember him being touted for high fees. Not a clue whether he'd be a reasonable answer to a post-Kane world but seems highly unlikely. Suso is a bit of a blast from the past, always seems to have hovered around the edges of being really good but never quite made it.

From the names mentioned, seems more a team with a decent collective of reasonably technical, proper La Liga players rather than any stand-out potential gems. Can see why Lamela & Gil appealed to them.
It's hard to judge them off last season

Wow of the offer is really €25m and suppose they accept €30m that should be a pretty good deal.

Tapsoba may not be all that in the end but at least it's the kind of money where we can afford to go again to find his replacement.

I thought Tapsoba had 3 years left on his deal?

Interestingly, I read tonight that RM might be looking offload Tchouameni for about 80mEur. Which I don't think they'll get by the way.
It looks as if he is staying for at least another season...

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, at the moment the intention is for Tchouameni to stay at Real Madrid. They want him to stay and he is viewed as a crucial player for their project.

Makes sense, see my reply above. Maybe what I read earlier was bollocks.

Maybe change their mind if they know that a Hojberg swap deal is on the table
