Well well.... Isn't there a real shitty undertone bubbling up here already, eh.

The toxic 'individual > club' fanboys always reveal themselves in due course (as they did with Son, Jose & our big influx of Croat players during the Ramos/Redknapp days)... Until then shouldn't we strive to roll the welcome mat out?

We sent them all our convicts
The Aussies sent one back
Now he is our gaffer
He'll make Tottenham attack

With Glory Glory Football
He'll take us to the top
With Ange Postecoglou
We will never stop

Allez allez allez etc etc
When I read this I automatically hear "Pinball Wizard" by The Who.

If you change the last line from "We will never stop" to "Sure plays a mean football" and hey presto.

But of course, I used to spend most of my pocket money on comics when I was a girl.
Blimey, that's brought memories flooding back - I used to cut out the outfits to fit "Bunty" every week.

Tom Cruise What GIF

Yeah, Irish heroes to be honest, Taigs would be more insulting. Or potato munching farmers.

Funny story about a catholic neighbour of mine, lovely girl but a bit loopy. Her and her sister were shopping in Belfast back in the day and some youth accosted them asking if they were taigs...

"Yes", she said, "My granny was a Teague, how did you know that?" The wee cunt didn't know what to say in return....she still gets teased by her family till this day...

This was a thing in my early 70s childhood too. Involved some very tricky scissor work, and if you accidentally chopped one of the paper tabs off, you could end up with your lady having a terrible wardrobe malfunction. If you know, you know. 😉

Think we may have gone a little off topic, er…. I’m sure Ange would be really good at paper doll making…

I actually like this rule. Gives the initiative to the attacking team more. It’s not like you’re going to be goal hanging.
I do like this rule but wouldnt it also make defenses not try to get an offside at all and sit back more, because its easier to beat the offside trap. Its add something but also takes away something. At least the decisions will always be much much clearer.
