I saw somewhere a while back a proposal to have a line about 5-10 meters outside the box. Offside would apply only after the line. Would be the end of high line defenses, though, which might not be a bad thing.

While I'm not Celt, I do support the same club. I'm here because Ange is a born winner and such a likeable guy and his method of playing football is a joy to watch. You countdown the days until his next games.

I do like this rule but wouldnt it also make defenses not try to get an offside at all and sit back more, because its easier to beat the offside trap. Its add something but also takes away something. At least the decisions will always be much much clearer.
