Do you think we had a chance at signing Rice or something? 😂😂😂😂

If we had finished 2nd last season.

Would we have less chance than woolwich? for any reason except being unwilling to do the financials?

But really, this shit is fucking annoying and easy to get dragged back into it.

May as well own it as Spurs fans that the club is about proving you can be successful with a different financial model.

We wouldn't choose it but we can't choose our owners and it hasn't been successful yet but with no other choice, may as well own it and get behind Ange's philosophy that the type of football matters more than the price you paid for the players.

Well, yes.

We'd have about as much chance at signing Rice as Chelsea would have of signing Harry Kane.

Absolute non starter.

So having swooped (!!!) for their desired Onana replacement (who they're seeking to sell for 40/50m) we're now set to be providing the replacement in the form of the guy Vic is replacing..... (A freebie no less!).

Tidy. :)

Fucking hell tho'..... Imagine the absolute riots in here if the roles were reversed!
Somehow they manage to get away with shit like that in the Italian league. They still have old man Dzeko starting CL knockout games.

Sarr maybe used more.

if Hojbjerg does leave then Spurs will have to replace him due to Bentancur's absence from the opening months of the campaign.
football.londonrevealed last month that Tottenham are considering a move for 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The interest from clubs in Giovani Lo Celso marks the Argentine out as a likely departure to raise further funds for new arrivals.

Skipp is currently on international duty as England U21s have reached the European U21 Championship final on Saturday against Spain and he faces the decision of whether to take his full contracted three weeks of rest after the tournament and return following the club's tour to Australia and Asia or return earlier in order to impress Postecoglou.

Newcastle in talks with Barnes so can't see them also signing Chiesa as they both play on the left side of the attack.

If they sell ASM I could see it happening still. They need to beef out those attacking options a lot, it was their big let down last season with a LOT of underperforming in terms of creating vs scoring goals.

Stats are great but what about the eye test? He goes through on goal 5/6 times a game and hits it directly at the keeper.

Apparently exceeded xG in the league by 4 goals last season. Eye test for me with Barnes has always been that he's got a decent finish in him, in & around the box pretty reliable finding the corner. No Son, but not the least clinical wide player about.

I wouldn't have minded him as a squad option but think Solomon is the more dangerous active threat on the ball but won't offer the same goal threat.
