When spurs fans had the chance to dictate their own prices plenty went for greed above helping out a fellow spurs fan.

I got a membership the season before we went to Wembley. Think I was around 70k.

These days we are at 150k members. Where do you think most of these members come from?

But to break it down a bit = 42k St holders, 3k away fans, 8k premium tickets (you have seen what those guys pay?!?) and then 8k left over approx.

So yes I think a fair amount of those seats go to tourists based on my own match going experiences in the new stadium.

People are constantly moaning about it. They will now pay more.

An unfortunate side effect is that other members without the time or money to get an ST are going to be affected.

But as I say we have 150k members now. Pretty much doubled since 2018.
Would love to see where they are all from and how often they attend matches.

Have been feeling genuine excitement for the new season, Ange… Maddison & Vicario done so quickly…

A part of me was thinking, wow kicking into gear now although with a slight worry of ‘is it the Kane money being spent’?

But to hike the prices 20% without Europe and before stadium naming rights is a proper slap in the face.

They should replace the golden cockerel on top of the stadium with a golden egg.

Absolute rotters.

Not all non season ticket holders are tourists you cretin!! Quite a few have had memberships for years they still have to pay the extortionate price if they want to continue following the team. Its fools like you that let this kind of thing happen. Stop defending the indefensible

Once upon I time I paid for memberships for me, boy, parents, nephews.

Not any more.

But nobody is being forced into it.

We all have the freedom to show our opinion either with how we spend our time and money or how much noise we make on the internet.

A lot of ST holders will consider themselves the most loyal supporters which is fair enough.

Fools like me?? He gets none of my money.

But I see it constantly how we are day tripper central. Those people are going to be paying extra money. Not out ST holders.

Those members who go every now and then are collateral damage unfortunately. They have a choice whether to go or not.

I’d guess that next year season ticket prices rise to match the single matches though, this is just testing the waters
