I'm really not sure on the Gallagher links.

I think he might suit Ange style more in terms of his willingness to get forward to score from midfield and brings energy.

If we bring him in I would imagine Sarr will be loaned out
 
I can't see Gallagher singing for us, being an absolute diehard Chelsea Boy. Not that I'd want him at Tottenham. He did ok at West Brom & Palace. Think Poch will keep him.

It feels like we've been linked previously, too. Agree with you re: Ange's style.

He's not an inspiring transfer target but I can definitely see the sense if Hojbjerg is on the way out and we can pump the HG number up. Smells to me like there is actually a plan in place to get the right blend of CMs behind Maddison and in front of the defensive four. Probably wise if we don't want to haemorrhage goals from the start.

Under Roman I'd assume we straight up would never do transfer dealings with Chelsea but perhaps it's different now. We'll pay a premium though.
 
Hope Chelsea price us away from Gallagher. Hard worker, quite average technically, a player we'd end up liking for his endeavour and frustrated with for his limitations. Good if we're trying to remain a top 10 side, not if we want to push on. Does work hard though, wouldn't be a terrible squad player for a few yrs. Did somebody say he could be a 6? Yellow card. We wouldn't make it out of our own half.

agreed.

I had thought Gallagher did really well to get in the England camp, as I don't watch Chelsea at all but what I've seen of him didn't really go nuts for his on the ball stuff, but off it he is relentless. Can see the potential there.

Though I'd much rather we give Sarr a chance after some promising displays last season than get a Chelsea boy in.

If you apply Levy's salary towards the reduction of the 42,000 general admission season ticket holders, that would save them £71 off the season ticket price, or £3.75/match. That being said, Spurs didn't increase season ticket prices this year, so not sure what you're harping about.
