They will have been on the tour. Any new signings will need to adjust and learn the system from a few steps behind

You won’t have to imagine it.

Tbh with Levy starting to look increasingly senile and unable to organize his thoughts but not stepping away from football decisions, Dyche revival could see Everton overtaking us as well.

Spurs are bad they don’t spend enough , Gooners are good they spending hundreds of millions , Man City are bad they spent toRubbish. They were beaten by the biggest financial dopers in the league.
Depends what you'd consider Ben Davies.
A new centre back means we'd have 7 centre backs for two positions. That's clutter.
This seems to be quite a strong indicator on where the club stands with Eric Dier:It has to be said the window is taking on a very familar feel after a relatively promising start. Struggling to shift players and the most glaring weakness in the side left untouched. I have no idea why they took the likes of Perisic, Sanchez, Rodon, Reggie and Lo Celso on tour.
We need a lot of squad churn
and as it stands Dier, Hojbjerg and possibly Davies will be starting in 4 weeks. I want to be positive, i want to look forward to a season for the first time in 5 years but bloody hell they make it so difficult to do that. A bit more urgency and intent would be welcome but i just dont think they have it in them to change, just too set in their ways .
Not true. Severance and redundancy can be capitalised as part of reorganisation and stretched over a longer term
No Ledley King?I agree with you that you can hang your hat on Harry and I don’t blame him for us not winning anything. I was just saying Hoddle scored in semis and a final.
Hoddle was my god because he played the game the way a midfielder should. Scored incredible goals with either foot, could open a tin of beans with left never mind a defence. His goal against Oxford in his last game was just funnily brilliant.
Harry is still in my top 5 of all time though.
Where in that 5 I don’t know. Hoddle,Gazza,Modric,Kane and Bale. Now there’s a front 5![]()
Everton won’t take over us. Dyche will have them comfortably bottom half just above relegationTbh with Levy starting to look increasingly senile and unable to organize his thoughts but not stepping away from football decisions, Dyche revival could see Everton overtaking us as well.

Yes but we're looking at Joachim Andersen which means we're in for a relegation battle apparently.Everton won’t take over us. Dyche will have them comfortably bottom half just above relegation
The transfer money, that led to the sacking of Poch & Hitchen, was wasted so it then became necessary for Jose to sell to buy.Flawed argument. You say they were sold to “balance the books” yet they were sold past their prime at reduced fees. Those purchased cost a bloody fortune so there was no balancing of the books. The issue is those expensive buys did not bear fruits, The money was still spent. IF you had maligned Levy/ENIC for choosing poorly your argument would have some merit. But as you haven’t said that it comes across as another anti ENIC rant which frankly puts me to sleep![]()
Paratici has done a decent job for Spurs. And despite the evidence that our recruiting has significantly improved in the past couple of years, you continue to peddle revisionist history nonsense. Surprised you didn't go back to 2013 or 2009.
And yeah, let's not sell Harry to get some transfer funds ending up with no one instead. Heck, by your logic we shouldn't buy any new player again ever as long as baldy is in charge.
The state of some of our fans and their fixation with Levy...
He’s a LB that Conte adapted to a LCB on more permanent basis than ever before, because he played with 3 CBs and the club didn’t provide him with good enough CBs.Depends what you'd consider Ben Davies.
A new centre back means we'd have 7 centre backs for two positions. That's clutter.
I do think Woolwich definitely bottled the league last season BUT it's also true to say they are really backing their manager this summer and going for signings that improve their first team and squad.
Rice, Havertz and Timber are good signings and I suspect they'll bring in more, once they've managed to shift out a few of course.
We've made a decent start to our window but need at least one CB and the Harry Kane situation is yet to be resolved. We also need to move out quite a few players, so far nobody is biting but is that due to our owners wanting too much or they're just shit?
Probably a bit of both.

I don’t think so this season either.Everton won’t take over us. Dyche will have them comfortably bottom half just above relegation
He provided the funds for the purchase of these players, that others had identified for him, and underpaid most of them while they played for the club and achieved successive Champions League qualifications. You do realise that he also bought the players your whining about us selling right?
I don’t think so this season either.
If Levy stays involved, the trajectory is headed that way.
There is no debate that he has the football club on a downward trajectory and it looks like all his old habits are back again this summer.
Everton have flirted with relegation for two seasons now. They're broke and have horrible recruitment. You're just saying utter nonsense.I don’t think so this season either.
