The only point I was making 2 weeks ago was that when everyone was getting sucked into the hype of singing Tapsoba, was that it reminded me of other expensive CB targets in the past that never happened. Especially after Maddison came in as the show piece signing of the summer.

I hope I’m wrong about that.

Now it has gone very quiet on VDV when several beat reporters wrote about the club wanting to get Ange a CB in time for the tour.

I don’t know why those observations are so uncomfortable for you that you have to go ad hominem to attack them…

He wasn’t a CB, wasn’t young either but he was Dutch so you only missed 2 of the 3 points.
 


Not giving an opinion on the player except he looked a talent for France and can also play off the right wing.

For those reasons it could be sensible.

But they would want more than we’d get for Kane and it’s 99% not happening for that reason

Pretty sure it ought to have been clear a number of posts back; it wasn't so much the observation but the frequency and extent of it all..... Drilling everyone with the same "observation" prediction on a daily basis is wearing and I make no apology for pointing this out (especially when, in 'promoting' your position, you've voiced the belief that "it doesn't matter if X is true or not".... Again; that's some pretty wild shit!).

Btw, none of this is ad-hom if the manner in which something is being done is what's being brought into question......
