I'm trying to think of a time that has happened? Do you think that is a good negotiating tactic?
I'm not thinking about it as a negotiation tactic, I'm thinking about what is best for Ange and to make sure a 2008 scenario doesn't happen again because that really could cost him his job.

We could keep Kane for a season and he gets injured first game and is then out for 9 months and walks for free, we need to stop thinking the world will end just because he goes, lets take the £100 Million and invest it in the squad and see what happens!

I'd much rather make the change now rather then rely on Kane for another season and not give others the chance to see what they can do!
Of course he could get injured but so could anyone we sign. There’s just been so much change at the club recently, taking a way Kane, who’s basically been a crutch holding us from total collapse is dangerous. Mentally the other players have come to rely on him.

Sure we have to get them off that reliance eventually if he’s going, but a good season, players who’s confidence was trashed by Conte rediscovering there form, everything could br easier next year with Ange bedded in.

Right so, as long as Ange knows, and Bayern knows there isn't really a need to make a public statement about it?

A lot of fans can't accept that on most occasions they'll be the last to know; cos most business deals are a game of poker where prematurely revealing your hand costs money..... Much like PR announcements only get made once everything is in place behind the scenes.

We are just delaying the inevitable though , much better to use the extra Funds now and see what Ange can do, if we can even get £80 million for him it could help considerably

How would fans knowing fit in with what you said?

"I'm thinking about what is best for Ange and to make sure a 2008 scenario doesn't happen again because that really could cost him his job."
Fans are part of the club, there will be even more understanding and sympathy for Ange and the players if the fans know what is going on.

Anyone that can control a ball and stay onside would do. 80m for Kane and 15m for pigeon and you have a decent pot. I assume we have included funds to replace him in our financial forecast so perhaps we bang down 150M for Osihmen

Fuck off PEH for 20M and promote Sarr and that’s 115M.
Levy would have to be smoking decent pot for anything like that to happen.

How anyone would think Son simply wouldn't slot in as that #9 in Anges system after watching West Ham is beyond me.

We looked so much better in that second half with someone running in behind. Replace Richarlison in that half with Son and we probably win that game. The amount of chances we'd be creating for him. He's the closest to an Ange #9 that we've got.

If we sold Kane. It'd be pointless signing a striker when we could probably do with two centre backs and a wide player.

Interesting point of view.

I don't really agree and personally, knowing a deadline and fee wouldn't make me have any more sympathy or understanding toward the manager and players.
