You must be basing that on our fantastic defensive stats.
Last 10-15 games back end of last season we were sat in 14th or somewhere around there.

Contrary to what he believes I take no pleasure in betting against Spurs and hope we win a trophy and finish high.

Not going to happen without some big defensive signings coming through the door though, that's just reality I'm afraid.

Basing it pretty simply on the reality that we haven't finished in a position where you would win the bet in 15 years. It's very unlikely you're going to win this bet. You should have made a better bet, you've negotiated basically even odds even though NotThatTedHughes NotThatTedHughes has a massive probability advantage.

Look yes , villa had a good second half of the season when the new manager came in.
But they are snapping up some good players, as you know time stands still for nobody football included.
We are notoriously slow in getting deals done, villa have got very ambitious owners,who are desperate to get them back among it again.
I have a friend who, gets in with some of the top people at villa, and they do mean business.
You can't honestly say the same about our people, unless it's to do with building flats or a golf course.
