I imagine they haven't been able to identify one and being out of Europe probably hinders us further more.

Tapsoba is further along in his development but who's to say the club thinks Van de Ven has alot more upside and potential to be better at the same age?

We're all frustrated we haven't got a new centre back in before we travelled to Australia but I am sure we will get one in before the season starts.

We also have plenty of proof that spending 40 million plus doesn't necessarily mean a raging successs, so any such argument is quite flawed.

Listen none of us have exact details on what is going on behind closed doors in negotiations.

Here is what I DO know beyond any doubt

- we have THIRTY bloody first team players at the club who will have to be parsed down to 25 at maximum when we register our squads
-we have sold Harry Winks and that’s it
-I am going to assume that there is at least some interest in this lot of 30 players. The fact is that none of them have been sold or really even close to sold by late July.

Well, given that my only 'cause' is using this forum to talk about a variety of spurs-related topics, without them always having to end up with the same agenda, perhap the answer is yes! ;)

But honestly, just spamming that same hashtag on barely related posts isn't exactly helpful or achieving anything is it?

Not to worry - you're still here, so in this case presumably others didn't feel so strongly. And your response to me wasn't just the hashtag, so that's progress. 😂 (No prizes for guessing what your response to this one might be - I wouldn't blame you, infact I'd do it myself in your shoes 😂 ).
