Great video about Orban. I don't really know what to think about this transfer, his overall play still seems pretty unimpressive, but his finishing is genuinely elite. Would be a fun signing anyway.

Got a sort of chunkier Defoe vibe about him. Zero use holding up the ball or bringing team-mates in the game, but good shifting and shooting and sniffing things out in the box.

Yeah he has a shot conversion rate of 29% in the Conference League, same as Haaland's in the PL, he could be useful if we find him in the box, but he needs to improve his overall game a lot, which makes sense, he was an amateur until 2 years ago.

So... is there like a post quota we have to meet before Levy will sign a CB?

It's a big relief to know that Ange prefer a player who's fit to play over a player he's yet to see in action during training and who won't be fit to play until December at the earliest

Ange Postecoglou has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur bosses that he prefers Giovani Lo Celso over Rodrigo Bentancur.

That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, with the Spanish outlet claiming that Postecoglou is trying to convince Lo Celso to stay at Tottenham this summer.

Problem is lo celso is shit....

I never like the Defoe comparisons about strikers who seem to just poach (coz it underrates his insane movement off the shoulder of defenders and ability to finish from any angle with any variety of technique)

But yeah Orban does seem to have that about him. Wonder if he’s more of a Son replacement than Kane replacement, though.

he was a bad fit for our last 2 managers that played shit football with most of the time defending.

It's no surprise that the teams that like Lo Celso also like to have the ball. Ange likes Lo Celso because he's well-suited to his system that revolves around having the ball,
I've yet to be convinced that a) ange activity knows what he's doing and b) he's doing it because he's already a Levy yes man
Our whole structure is a house if cards...
