......I'm not convinced kicking them both back down the pecking order for a relatively unknown/limited-experienced-at-LB VDV is exactly the most convincing answer on paper.

If we're making assumptions; then surely Udogie is the safer bet seeing as that's his actual position by trade?

(I"m not shitting on the idea of him being an option if everything goes tits up; but that's a far stretch from assuming he'll be play LB "a lot".)

Isn't Udogie naturally a wing back? and "better going forward than defending?"

I don't know tbh... I haven't seen much of him.

There was definitely a here we go.

He wasn’t wrong. He just left a key detail out that this fellow was the employee responsible for signing the contract.

I meant to ask you, how was the weather when you were over? I seem to remember it being a time of torrential rain, well at least up here in the sierra. Hope it didn't spoil your stay.
It had stopped raining the day before we got there. Weather was lovely the entire time. We were there for 12 days. Went to Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona, and Costa Brava. The people were great and tolerated my piss poor Spanish better than I expected. My son got an offer to play at a football boarding school in Barcelona and we are debating whether or not to send him there... tuition costs an arm and a leg

If serious then they will go all out for a striker.

They would not target Raya if they think Jesus will be out for long
Doubt they would. Balogun did very well out on loan and they're still gonna struggle to find a spot for him in that front 3 regularly with Nketiah also in the picture. I think they could definitely do better than they've got in the 9 role but looks like they are quite happy with Jesus after last season so unless they wanted to replace him as starter or bin off Nketiah for a better backup I can't see them dipping into the market for a top forward with how much they've already spent.

Excellent, sounds like an awesome trip! I love the Costa Brava, some stunning medieval villages a stone's throw from gorgeous beaches. Shame it's such a schlep from here.
