If the decision is Veliz instead of Orban for the 2nd striker role, has that just been obviously a financial decisions?

Veliz has a release clause which seems to be below his market value, given other top clubs, as well as ours, are linked with him.

So the price isn't the issue. As with Olise & his release clause, the price is the price. The challenge is persuading the player to sign for us.

I suspect our historical & current links with Argentina, incl the presence of Romero & GLC in the squad, are factors in what the pundits are suggesting is Veliz's decision to sign for Spurs.

Impossible for anyone who hasn't extensively scouted both of them to answer. I can say that Veliz was linked to Milan and Napoli, while Orban was linked to Lille, so just going on that I'd say that Veliz is held in higher regard in general.
