Match Tottenham Hotspur - Hull Tigers (Capital One Cup) - Block J 1945KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Had a cracking night tonight, my voice is hoarse and my hands are sore. It was great that it seemed like 1882's support rubbed off on the rest of the ground too. And I still can't get over the fact that we won a shootout!

Anywhere you go... always take Lamela with you...

@ BushHillSpurs BushHillSpurs was good too meet you too!

One gripe. A few people in Block J booed the Park Lane Upper when they wouldn't start a chant.. They did start a chant but you didn't fucking listen. There was 20 of them, 200 of us.
Just a little moan, was otherwise a great night!

Quality night.

Agree with @ Kris Kris . They were starting/joining in a lot more than some people thought. And every time we sung give us a song they got booed before they could respond/before we heard them clear enough.

Also, certain songs sound a bit stupid. Especially given there's plenty of people who won't know what's going on, as bad as that sounds. Hard to explain. Certain songs should be left for the youth games in my opinion. Don't know how to explain what I mean properly :gylfi:.

But a quality night.

Spot on 88 bloke and ramsignh. PL upper (where I was) was as loud as I've heard since Inter 3-1. But people just stop and have a laugh at the silly songs, so maybe they're counter-productive sometimes.

Don't get me wrong though. I loved tonigh and I'm proud of the support. Hull fans must be confused as fuck. It was a totally different ground to Sunday.

Also, while I'm here. Still amazes me how stupid some people can be with starting songs/timings. Not sure if they just want their minute of fame so try too hard at every chance they get but some songs are started at such awful times. Or the wrong song at the wrong moment.

Just got home, shattered and my voice is fucked but what a night! Was right underneath J in 31 and loved it - atmosphere was quality tonight hats off to all of you, I'm looking forward to the next one already. Got a vid of the last two pens that I'll upload tomorrow.

Still can't believe I saw us win a shootout at home, bit of poo came out when Friedel saved the last one!

It was a really decent game of football last night, too. People moaned a lot, but come on, it was pure entertainment. Entertaining doesn't have to mean us coasting at 3-0. As for AVB's style; I really enjoy watching teams who close down and don't give space and that's what we do in spades.

Great night. Like many others have said my voice is feeling it a bit at the minute but there's 8 days to recover before the next one.

Some cracking songs tonight.
Nacer Chadli's not so much but it had me in stitches none the less.

Fair play to the stewards aswell. Take a lot of stick but the ones in Block J when we've been up there have been class. Bit of halftime banter with the "steward give us a song" "Yid army" "sacked in the morning".. Daniel Levy lookalike at Maribor was cracking up at that game too.

Great to see the atmosphere rub off on the rest of the ground and also for AVB to pick up on it.
I think the atmosphere in our blocks have been better at other games, extra time in particular it seemed people were feeling the affect of singing/pogo-ing etc all game but the rest of the ground was much better today which for me is what 1882 is about.

Felt much more like a joint support rather than some nutters up in the top corner today.

Awesome night again - hopefully voice recovers for next week.

Just got home.

Fucking loved it. I was in the 4th row in block J and my only wish was that I'd been in the mix with the rest of the 1882 people. Next week...I think my seats are pretty far back!
