Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Not sour grapes at all because I fully back Kane to do whatever he wants to do, he’s earned it.

But I just don’t understand the Bayern thing, the only thing I can think is it reflects a lack of real options.

He has a chance for immortality in England with breaking the Shearer. It’s not insane to think he could challenge the Greaves division 1 record if he stays healthy and fit until 36 or 37. Unlikely, but not impossible. Carragher made the point that people talk far more about Shearer’s record than his PL medal.

I can’t think of trophies that will mean less than winning German league trophies with Bayern, they walk it every year. No one is going to give Kane any credit for those. So to get the credit and achievement he wants, they’ll have to win the Champions League, but this Bayern team is one of the worst in recent memory, got super lucky to win the Bundesliga last year.

He’d get far more plaudits for winning an FA or League Cup with us than 5 Bundesligas with Bayern.

Kane only goes to Bayern to win the CL. And they would be among the favorites to win it this season with him as their #9. Their starting 11 really has no holes.

Kane, Musiala, Coman, and Gnabry as a front four (Musiala as a 10) along with Kimmich as a 6 and a serviceable 8 like Goretzka… that’s a top side. Add the best LB in the world (Alphonso Davies). That’s a top attacking side.

Their defense is suspect in comparison, but it is still decent with their new additions.

Definitely favorites for CL along with City and RM.

activating the add ons are probably more likely too perhaps, win the title, 20 league goals, x amount of apperances etc.

what are the issues that need to be sorted with spurs first though?
Who knows?

In my heart of hearts, I think Harry would rather stay in the PL, but he’s conscious of what the club wants and the need to get a fee. He might want to stay but we’re saying he has to go?

I think he’s conducted himself honourably and is trying to do the right thing.

oh fuck off, I had accepted that he’s off, this is BS
Maybe…maybe not…

I have no doubt that with his family it’s a difficult choice to uproot them all. And we’re three days out from the season and you know he has a strong connection to a bunch of people in the team. I’m not saying that I think he won’t leave but a few days before the season and family considerations as well maybe it seems more like an obvious thing from an outsiders position?

This should have been sorted weeks ago so we could get replacements in, the fact that we have left it until 3 days before the first game of the season to extract every penny.

Which will leave us short going into the new season, it's so predictable it's sad.
