How would we use him? If it's as a cover for Maddison, we might as well use Lo Celso for that. As a winger maybe? I'm not sure that's the best use of him.

Lo Celso has 2 years left on contract and has been hugely disappointing in the first 3 years - has only completed 90 mins in 7 PL matches since arrival due to a combination of injuries and a desire to play for Argentina at every turn, even when not fit enough to play for Spurs.

So I'm not sure club will be keen to renew his contract at his current high salary. Players with contracts needing to be renewed often play better, but after contract signing players can get very uninterested - will that happen ?

Not sure what price Eze might be, but I'd suspect he's be seen as an upgrade on Lo Celso, and if we sold Lo Celso it would resolve Lo Celso's contract situation plus give the club another quality HG player that we need.

Eze is such a tactically versatile player, I've said this before but that flexibility is why I'd actually consider spending big money on him.

What a luxury it must be as a manager to look at a player like Eze who has elite take-on ability, elite delivery both on crosses and set pieces, shooting, and real robust playmaking skill from the center or the wing.

If James Maddison is doing a 2015-19 Eriksen impression, Eze is doing a 2015-19 Coutinho impression.

Love love love the idea. He offers so many intriguing possibilities from the wing and center.

Only problem is that Palace would be fools to let him go with Olise injured/off and Zaha gone. They will actually demand 60 mill+. And with Paqueta going for 90? I wouldn't be shocked if they held out for a silly number. I don't want to get my hopes up on this one.

Gil to them on loan won't be a bad option, he won't get much minutes in the current team and involvement in competitions

He is 21 years old ffs , noone is expecting a Cristiano Ronaldo..the weaknesses can be potentially coached out.

Son had similar stuff written about him before his PL move
He’s a very intriguing talent of course. But we cannot ignore the fact that he is incredibly raw due to not playing in an academy and having about 12 months of professional football up to this point, and he’s understandably shaky in a lot of aspects of the game.

This was Kane at 21, the exact same age, against Mourinho’s PL-winning Chelsea.

My prediction is he will struggle if we expect him to actually come in and produce for us this season and the next. he has a ton of development to do and is going to find himself in over his head dealing with PL defenders in duels and physical pressure.

Also a lovely balanced footballer who can take the ball under pressure, and keep it - either carry or hold then pass. Can be an integral cog in all thirds of the pitch. After years of enduring PEH booting the ball back to Lloris, or shitting himself and dishing out hospital backward passes to anyone, Eze will be a revelation
