Match Brentford fc vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR/ Sun 13th 14:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Oh give it a rest. Go watch Bayern have 70% possession all season with Kane up top. As if every possession dominant team has had an entirely pressing front 3.

He was shit, just admit it. Just stick Mo Farah up top if we're going to give so much credit for "Pressing."

Zero quality on the ball.
Our problem was in the wide areas today.

Richy did what was asked of him. Thought he did well with a man constantly on him, sometimes two.

Yeah, this is going to be a tough season.

People wanted entertainment, well there you go.

Have to find a way to get Richarlison and Son involved more, maybe swap their positions for the 2nd half?

Brentford fans are a bit chippy, the Stoke of West London!
Yes we need to show some flexibility. It will become too predicable. Kulu to left I keep saying he just doesn’t have the toolset to play inverted. No pace and not enough quality on the ball.

So just another half a dozen signings to make over the next two weeks....

Emerson, goal aside got roasted twice.

United have more pace than that lot.
Still an awful lot of work to do, there’s no doubt.

Yep. It’s a weird one because he’s being played in that RB/CM role and he doesnt have a) the technical ability to play it and b) the speed to cover the wing which is exposed when Emerson is in the middle. Such a strange one.

No, Bissouma was awesome, he bossed and owned the middle of the pitch

1. Bissouma
2. Maddison
3. Udogie
4. VDV

The 4 real standouts for me. Really impressed by all four. I still think it's a shame we weren't in for a Diaby as from what I saw vs. Newcastle he looked like he'd suit an Ange team, a lot more electric and active than Kulusevski.

Son was tragic. Let’s not forget that however soft, he was the one who gave away a pen and so, was a net negative throughout the game.

I hope he can rediscover form and it can work out as he is the captain and he will probably be given some margin of leniency as a result.
He's a shadow of the player he was. At this point I don't think it can just be confidence or niggles. I'd like to give him him a go at centre forward, as he still has top finishing ability.

Gotta say, Edwards over Kulusevski 100% if he’s looking at it (start of season for Sporting).

Perisic made Udogie come to life technically.

Son well, deary me, if that’s your debut as Captain, hopefully just nervous tension, otherwise Perisic please.
Son has lost his edge. Somehow he's not looking to run at players or even running flat out. I hope it's just because he was injured. Id play without "wingers" and bring Sonny in between Richy and the Touchline. We don't have prolific players with the head so crosses might not be our best option. If we bring them in Son, Richy and Solomon Instead of Kulu (all quite pacey) can perhaps do better with quick passing. It opens the wings for Udogie as well.
