But he's not a winger we need in this system.

He'd be competing with Maddison as the 8 almost exclusively.

The likes of Doku, Solomon, Nico Williams etc are the right profile for what we need. Not Kudus. And I like him.

Fully agree we need to buy players that fit Ange’s system. Right now he’s trying to mold players who were already here. Some fit some won’t. But any future signing have to be a fit.

That said , you don’t think Kudos can operate as a #8 next to Maddison on the right ?

I think he might be able to.

But we don't know if that's a route Ange is willing to go down. I was surprised not to see Lo Celso come on alongside Maddison at the weekend.

I too was surprised we didn’t see Lo Celso. Maybe Ange’s praise for him is all window dressing with there being truth to the Italian/Barca rumors.

With the triangles being so important to Ange’s buildup, if we’re forced to play Emerson at RB, we need more creativity in the right side 8.

Son/Maddison/Udogie is far more threatening to teams than Kulu/Skipp(Sarr)/Emerson.

I think we'd have seen Lo Celso if Romero didn't go off injured tbh.

Agree. That's why I like Porro over Kulu. More speed, creativity and better crossing (we would probably need to work on those who are in the box)

Better defensively too.

I responded to your silly conspiracy about purposely not selling players to avoid spending.......

What do you want me to say if all you respond with a generic Levy-moan that doesn't do anything to substantiate your OG claim?

Regardless of any line in the sand that you (as a fan) wished to draw; you may have convinced yourself that's what's happening, but the simple fact is we have 2 1/2 weeks left to complete our business.

How long have we had to shift these cloggers?

Whatever…

Fact is, there is nowhere near enough movement on the same deadwood in the squad that have outlived 4 managers now.

Enough is enough.

Sell them or take the loss and cut them loose. The squad needs a full rebuild. Ange has had a look, the tour ended and the season started but they are still here preventing the club from bringing new players in…

Lets take the player all managers think is a waster and we do not want.

He's on £200k pw (£10m pa) and with 2 years left on his contract, to dump him costs £20m..... more than we paid for Vicario !

All reports so far suggest we will take any offer (eg reports of £7m from Turkey), providing they pay his wages.

Perhaps unsurprisingly there are not too many bidding clubs. And I don't think we will unload all our dross this window.
